Because devs aren't working with the same hardware for 7 years, as opposed to console. They can optimize the games for specific console hardware, while they got so many options to consider for PC hardwareMonsieurX

Oh ok, but that plus the amount of QTE and cutscenes put me off the game, it's getting better as I go on though. 

They purposly made a lot of QTE in the beginning of the game, i think to introduce people to the game or something they said.
