Gamespot is so biased towards the X1. it's kind of annoying. Why can't it be that the X1 is bundling a free third-party game as compensation for it's late arrival in Europe, not a slick move at Sony.
@ghostwarrior79 I'm not doubting their ability but creating good enough AI for Battlefield would be close to impossible. They're still having a hard time with TF2.
@armyown You guys try way too hard sometimes. It's actually delusional. PS4 is a hundred dollars cheaper but it lacks the Kinect 2, TV, it's not cloud-powered and misses a shit-load of integrated software; but you're all so happy it's a $100 cheaper. The PS4 is overpriced and uninventive. That's why Sony fanboys are on every Xbox article to see what's actually happening, what's actually new in next-gen gaming. Then when Xbox has something cool, you bash it until Sony steals the same idea. Now it's a great business strategy. You hate the Xbox because of what it tried. You choose the PS4 based off of what it didn't.
Nintendo is by far the most respectable game company now. The only thing they need to do is originate some of their games and create some new and good stuff. They're good for it. It's just now, it's like your buying a much watered-down kids system with sequels to games you've been playing since N64. It's like everything that is not Mario, Smash Bros., Zelda or Donkey Kong is meh. That's not good.
@stabester Quite frankly I don't like the DRM any more than anyone else; but people are hating on the X1 because they want the X1. They hate Microsoft, they don't love their PS4. It essentially won by default.
-The X1 has a lot of great exclusives including: Titanfall, Forza, Quantum Break, Halo, Ryse, Project Spark and Dead Rising 3 and many others and on top of that. The major games that use to be exclusive to Sony aren't anymore: Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy XV and the Kingdom Hearts. While the major next-gen games are for both systems: Watchdogs, The Division and Bf4.
-X1 comes with the Kinect 2.0, people want to knock it before they try it, but it comes with a number of improvements such as much better voice, motion and face recognition. You can turn the system on, set up online matches and access movies and games with your voice. You should check the videos out. Controversy aside, the camera has much better video quality and programming to capture your every movement which can really play a great role in new games if used correctly.
-X1 is cloudpowered which comes with a number of benefits such as: Better AI opponents, sharing your content with your family whether you're there or not, easy access to stored games where ever you are and some say if used correctly it can boost the power and performance past the PS4, and it has features like Living Game technology that allows the world's of games to be updated and changed by the developers seemlessly while you play, no more hassle and waiting for that Battlefield update.
-X1's Xbox Live Gold Membership has taken a shot at Sony's PS+ with giving two free games a month, as they say.
-The X1 is jampacked with integrated components that many deem 3rd party and gimmicky however, it's there. If I bought a burger at McDonalds and they gave me Ninja Turtle Barbie Time Adventures game for free. I would know the game sucks but at least I got it. XD. Game DVR with video editing and sharing(Awesome for Bf4), the TV component, Skype, Remote Play and the quick, easy and convenient multitasking/multichannel feature to do all these things at once.
I'm sure whether you care about these features or not, they're more than a hundred dollars in features.
@oOhedzOo Kinect 2.0 is better. It isolates sounds(particularly the player to single out his voice) it's not about listening to my commands, which is also suppose to be better, but just to allow other players online to hear me.
