Yeah, it's pretty frustrating to see that 2K is the only company allowed right now to make MLB games for the 360. Fortunately, I also own a PS3, and so I could pick up MLB 09: The Show. Having said that, I have played MLB 2K9 and I didn't find it to be a terrible bug-ridden experience as most have made it out to be. But then again, I haven't tried any full features--just the play now and Xbox Live modes of the game.

Howdy Y'all,

Today I've been trying recover my Xbox Live Gamertag, as I downloaded it at my friend's house the night before, but it continues to tell me that the sign in process isn't working, or something to that effect, and boots me to the dashboard.

I have indeed checked my actual internet connection, and there's no problem there.

On a slightly related note, I've heard some buzz that people were having difficulty acquiring MS points prior to downloading the CoD:WaW map pack, and they seem to also have trouble in that they can't access information from Xbox Live.

I just wanted to see if anyone else was having this problem, or if is just me, and if there is anything one would suggest to help me out.

Thanks!

I would recommend picking up one of the Pokemon RPGs (I've put in 100+ hours--without having wi-fi support, either), Final Fantasy IV or Final Fantasy Tactics (can't really go wrong with like 200 or 300 missions), and definitely Advance Wars: Dual Strike; I can't even begin to tell you the number sleepless nights I've spent playing AW: DS.

Hmmm, well, ok guys. I do already have a gameboy micro, so I guess there's nothing to worry about in that regard. I think I'll just try to stick to the L-button-free games for now (*sigh, thinking of Zelda PH*) and play it by ear as to what, exactly, the DSi has to offer, and when it comes out stateside, (and for Canadians like me:D).

Hey everyone,

My DS has recently stopped functioning 100% (L-button won't work; if someone knows of anything that'll help, please let me know) and now I'm unsure of whether I should go out and get a new one soon, or bite the bullet and wait for the new DSi, which has a release date yet to be disclosed in North America.

What do you guys suggest? I DO like to play GBA games, but I don't want to feel left out once the newest model comes out...:|

* On a side not, I don't know whether or not this kind of topic has been much discussed lately (I'm guessing it is though), but feel free to bash me from making this topic if you feel so inclined.

Thanks, Chunks

When the DS and PSP were announced, I was a huge fan of the DS and my brother was a fan of the PSP. Then a few months later it switched. I bought a PSP first and I loved it, but there were just sooo many games I wanted that eventually I had to get a DS lite.

Also, while I was buying it (a pink DS lite, I'm a girl), the sales guy was like "Yeah this is a great system, especially compared to the PSP for people your age. How old are you, 12 or 13?". I was 17.

SlorgieNel

Hahahahaha, that must've been pretty awkward, to say the least.:P

But yeah, I got my DS because...wait a minute, I don't even know when or why I got one! All I know is that I one kinda appeared in my house (probably by way of my parents).

I bought my PSP from my friend, so it came with a few games. I believe they were Gretzky Hockey (or whatever it's called) THUG 2 Remix, and the original Lumines. Then a week later I proceeded to get X-men Legends II (I love that game).

I got my 360 a little over a year ago, and my first game was Oblivion, and I can still play it today for hours if I'd like. So, it's a pretty lasting game, for me anyway. You should probably check out Halo 3 or CoD4, those are two great shooters that almost never get tiring.
