Hey,

I got this buddy who's board is some complete MSI piece that has caused nothing but trouble. He doesn't plan to game or anything and just wants a new board that will be problem free and work with his old parts. Really it only needs to meet a few specifications. It has to be compatable with a Intel 3.0GHz P4 Prescott Slot 775 Processor. Accept DDR 400MHz Ram. Have a Coaxial S/PDIF Audio Out Port. And lastly have 2 IDE Coinnectors. Now I know finding a new board to meet these 4 year old specs may be hard but I am willing to tackle that if you guys could help me with some recomendations. I have heard Intel Boards and Asus boards are pretty good and do not in any way want to get him an MSI board. Simply put I am looking for a solid board with great support and driver updates to support XP and Vista that meets the above requirements. Thanks in advance.
