Is there a way to get back to the area filled with ramps where you fought Octienne? There was a chest here however I could not open it mid-battle. Now when I try to go back the area is closed to fire damage. Can you eventually get back here or was there a trick to opening that chest?

I'm pretty sure you are thinking of the "Shaving Lenny" mission in Hitman: Absolution

Yes you are right! Somehow I got mixed up when remembering my E3 '12 footage haha. Below is the video I was talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcJhijTI1Ps

The only way it will work is If you have the PS3 Super SLIM..you leave the sliding disc tray open, pop in a U/C game, press "X" to boot the game up, as soon as you do that pop in the import game and it will work. (same way as if you were to do it with the PS2 SLIM)

This is how I thought you probably had to do it because the others are slot loading. I wish there was an easier way other than this or buying a jap PS1.

I bought my Japanese PS1 for like $20 on ebay, I might have been lucky but they still don't cost much.

That is another option but I was trying to limit the number of systems I have connected. Thank you though,

Is there any way to play a PS1 import disc on a US PS3 without a mod chip? I know for the PS1 & PS2 there were boot discs like swap magic and such, but is there anything like this for the PS3?

From what I can infer, what the DC version has over the PS2 version is:

Smooth anti-aliasing

Consistent 60 fps gameplay

VGA support

Widescreen support

Exclusive mini-games w/ 4 player support

What the PS2 version has over the DC is:

New hub world

New levels

New bosses

Extra level geometry

Optional English voice acting

Thank you for the clear reply. From comparing walk-throughs it looks like the below are PS2 exclusive 3.13 Rainbow Creek 3.15 The Pirate Mines 3.17 The Factory

the dreamcast runs 60 fps and with vga looks a ton better than ps2.

So I have a Dreamcast VGA into my TV & my PS2 with Component Video into my tv. Does the PS2 have any content the dreamcast version doesn't, and if so what?

[QUOTE="Chris_Yaskoski"]So what are the differences between the DC & PS2? I see some people say either or is the "best version". I know the DC runs at 60fps and ps2 slows down sometimes so with that said, what does the PS2 version have that makes it better than the DC? Or is the DC the best version?DiceofSpades
The PS2 version is faster, has better controls(Imo), the English, and looks better. As well as having shorter load times if i recall.

I still cant get a clear answer :\ Many other places say the dreamcast version runs at 60 FPS and PS2 has slowdown, so how is the PS2 version faster, do you mean rayman's actual movement? Also I read the DC features most of the graphical improvements the PS2 version also has like 3d models replacing some sprites. So can anyone give a clear specific answer of what is the better version and why?
