So this review is basically "this game does everything as well as the previous games in the series so we're going to give it a much lower score". Meanwhile, Halo, Call of Duty, and a million other rehash-filled series get undeserved high scores.
Originally I was hoping Bowser Jr. would finally be added to the mix. Now I'm just hoping they don't take away my go-to character Ness. Some of Villager's animations....
Sure wish that bit at the end had lasted about 15 minutes longer..........................................................
But seriously, Xbox One is a joke. I can't believe people are still planning to buy this system. It honestly seems like they got a group of people together and said "what can we do to turn anyone who even remotely likes video games away from our system?" Even the name is dumb.
Brilliant! No reason to gather people together for events like this. But E3 is the tip of the iceberg. The Super Bowl is about the same thing, expecting people to herd all the way to one area of the nation or tune in to a specific channel and sit through hours of dancing people and plays and stuff, let's just have the coin toss and announce the winner based on that, then we can post it on the internet to save time AND money. Come to think of it, movies encourage people to herd into a theater with family and friends and take around 2 hours of sitting in the dark, sharing experiences with strangers to get to the damn point and cost millions of dollars, let's commend movie companies that just save time and give us single sentences that tell the whole story rather than these expensive audio visual wastes of our lives. Hell, video games would be much easier to review if they were just single words rather than multi-hour button-pressing fests. We've been wasting soooooo much time and money on stupid things like entertainment, excitement, fun... And it wasn't until Tom pointed out how worthless those things were that I really realized it. After I finish giving him a round of applause I'm going to go sit quietly in a corner with my eyes closed and focus on being efficient.
@mike300zxt But I'm smarter than Sony engineers. So smart that I've developed telepathy. I've used this ability to read the minds of each known Sony engineer. They haven't come up with anything yet. They're only focusing on cracking down on pirates. I've come up with something though (a process that would be too complex for your less-intelligent-than-the-Sony-engineers-who-are-in-turn-less-intelligent-than-me mind, I'm afraid), so there's no need to worry. I will solve the problem.
THAT'S where it started? That was stupid, and not the funny kind of stupid just the dumb kind of stupid that you want to forget about as soon as possible. How did this ever catch on? I never had a problem with the Leeroy Jenkins thing, but now that I know the whole story, it's remarkably, fantastically, impossibly dumb. Worst meme ever.
