BF4 is not an improvement over BF3 in any way. The grahics and gameplay are literally the EXACT same. At least BF3 was a good game to copy though. I was a little disapointed, but overall its pretty good.

I've alway thought the COD multiplayer was a little more fun than Battlefields. Up until COD Ghosts. Even by COD standards it is a steaming pile of s***! It looks so bad, and the guns sound so cheesy its unbelievable.

I own both games, and while not overwelmed by either, BF4 is definitely the better game.

@iampenguin:

I'm in a rut right now, as i cant find anything i enjoy playing. In the last couple of months i've played GTA5, all three Bioshocks and The Last of Us. I really liked all of them, and wonder if my expectations are to high. I even like competitive multiplayer games like Battlefield and COD, but they aren't appealing to me right now either. So, I might just quit being a gamer for a while.

I must be an oddball. I always finish the games i buy, and only get one game at a time. I take my time and see everything there is to see. I also research the games i get really well to avoid getting something I don't like. The only game that I got this generation that I didn't finish was Darksiders2. I actually thought it was a really fun game, but it was really long and got to repetitive for me. I like to complete games and then compare my opinion of it to different game reviews.

I just played all three of these games back to back to back and my vote easily goes to TLOU. In fact, its probably the best game I've ever played.

I bought my PS3 to play UC3 on release and was massively disappointed. It's the only AAA game that I really dislike. It was just a basic shooter with good graphics and an adequate story. That's why I was very hesitant on buying The Last of Us. Strangely enough The Last of Us is in my opinion the best story driven game ever made. I cannot believe they were made by the same developer. I can't say enough good things about The Last of Us, it truly is a masterpiece.

I think what Joel did in the end is tied very closely to the loss of his daughter in the opening scene of the game. At the end of the game he saw Ellie as his child, and parental instinct kicked in. Most caring fathers would fight to the death to protect thier child, no matter if the childs death could save humanity or not. I believe the point of the ending was to show the power of a parent's love. I think i read that the guy who wrote the story for the game became a father while writting it, so maybe that had something to do with it.

People got mad that she didn't give the game a 10/10 before they themselves played it to see what it was like. Idiots. On that note, I thought a 9/10 was a generous score after playing it for about 30 hours now. It's a long ways away from a 10/10. The combat is a 1/10. There are no game mechanics to speak of, you simply go to the little dot on the map and then press the buttons they tell you to, really... The game is raunchy and distasteful just to appeal to all the sexually frustrated zit faced adolescents out there. People say the game is "genious" or "amazing"... yea I suppose so.. in the same way that pornography is. I feel like even the devs are making fun pf the people playing there own game with characters like Jimmy and all of the commercials on the radio and stuff.

Have you played the whole game yet? How can people think it should get a 10/10 before its even been released to the public? I think 9/10 is a generous score. It has state of the art graphics, its art direction is awesome, it is a massive game with lots of detail. All of these things are excellent. However, I'm not a big fan of tightly scripted gameplay. You have to do the missions precisely how they want you too. You have to go to the precise spot on the map they have told you to go to, and press the buttons they tell you to. I also feel like the GTA series as a whole is nothing more than a crime/murder simulator. Whenever people say they like GTA they say its because you can beat up hookers and stuff. I even feel like the devs are making fun of the people who are playing thier own game by making characters like Jimmy and some of the commercials on the radio. It's like they are saying "we'll make this game because its what the fans want, but you guys are f***ed up.".

... Diablo 3 really does suck.
