Bringing up star fox is a bad idea. That's an example of why innovation for the sake of it is a terrible idea, not a great example of the benefits of innovation. As an aside, oh dear lord the font here is suddenly super bad. Just plain awful.

The Ghostbusters are fine because they are original new characters. The comic book character swaps are a cheap trick. Miles Morales isn't a bad character, but he isn't Spider-Man. He's an alternative Spider-Man. Peter Parker is Spider-Man, Steve Rogers is Captain America, Thor is Thor, Tony Stark is Iron Man.

As Spider-Man said himself a few years back... "a loser dressed as Venom is still a loser". (In reference to Mac Gargan, yet another ahem "Venom") You can't just take a very long established character and just have someone else dress as him or her and say "this is *insert name* hero now".

It's been done before, it doesn't work. Because it's a cheap trick to avoid the noble work of building diversity in the line by creating new original characters. It's a lazy cheap trick, and one we've seen already.

Accusing me of not seeing the big picture is laughable as you fail to understand that this country is changing rapidly and people like you won't be the majority forever, be careful what precedents you set for the future majority, my future minority who has alot of his rights up for a popular vote by people who are probably not going to be fond of you for the way you treated them friend.

Answer the question. Were the courts right or wrong to overturn the voter approved interracial marriage bans. A straight yes or no would be nice.
