So because they're lesser people, they're not people?
Whoa WAT?
Don't be surprised, this is his reaction to everything. He called a bunch of people atheists in one thread for telling him to talk about religion elsewhere, then called a bunch of people baby haters because he made a super idiotic thread involving a deformed baby and Skyrim.
What, should I have made a thread about a normal baby and Skyrim? I'm sorry I'm not such a boring person like you. This is an issue that is present in every aspect of our modern society, not just in video games.Gxgear
...You clearly have never seen The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. No video game emulates The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants quite as well as it does.
To put it simply, females are simply a devise to asentuwait the main character's story. Whenever there is a discussion about things, the female is simply there for the character to open up and reveal things that he couldn't to normal people due to him being a man. Females are not given actual depth, and you won't find them doing anything men do (i.e. being deceitful, farting, being disturbed in some ways). Even Zelda is victim of this.
Some games solve this problem by not including them at all, like Call of Duty. Gears of War tried to incorporate female-like things into the story, but it didn't work too well because Dom would never shut the **** up. Jesus. Of course, some video games do try to give females the main role, but it seems mostly like a novelty, like tolerance, than it being an actual character thing.
If games want to evolve, they have to treat females like people, and not just men like people.
