I agree with the one reply in this thread. Hold the controller gentry in your hands with your fingers relaxed. Try not to grip it too tightly and it should be easier - it can also help easy some repetitive stress pain having your hands more relaxed.
When it comes down to it the Dual Shock 3 and Sixaxis are both smaller by a good degree than the XBox S controller (or what is it called).
The lack of a back curving feature on the trigger I think is a plus - I don't like my controller to look like a toy gun I gues. The triggers on the XBox I also felt were too big when I played Halo for long periods
Comes down to preference. There was a great deal of ergonomic research behind both the Dual Shock and XBox designs
