I'm afraid that a boycott may not be necessary. It seems that they have cut their development teams so greatly...I fear the days of real LucasArts games are gone anyways :(

I didn't like GTAIV either. I still have it next to my PS3, and I feel like I wasted my money also.

The other PS3 games are much better

I thought the the plot of 4 was, well, cheesy and bad. AdmiralDan

Would you please share with us what game you think presents a better story experience

MGS4 has one of the more mature storylines available in video games - most other stuff looks WAY worse in cutscenes and has WAY WAY WAY worse dialog. MGS4 is a GOOD story for a video game....you've got it backwards... I'm not sure what you're getting at here. This sort of thing in games should be encouraged *boggle*

No, I'm not disappointed with Sony or the PS3... Instead, I'm disappointed with developers...disappointed instead that developers can't get their act together and all make content for the PS3 that is as quality as Metal Gear Solid 4

I definitely thought that Raiden was something more than human when he was able to single-handedly take on 20 Metal Gear Rays on foot at the end of MGS 2 (sorry to spoil for anyone). But some certain things did hint that Raiden's abilities exceed expectations often and often even exceed Snake's abilities who is the clone of the perfect soldier. He isn't human I don't believe I think he's an ANDROID :D

MGS 4 is more a cinematic experience than any other game I've seen. Many complain about the balance of interactive moments and moments where you watch, but not every game has to strike that same heavy gameplay focus that most games have. The technical achievements in the game are also great - I'm not sure what technology they use for the characters but they're possibly the best looking characters ever real-time in a game. For example, Sunny Gulgavich (sp?) [Olga's daughter] is a really adorable character that you gain a connection with as you might in a film. The only reason you can suspend that disbelief and enjoy it is because the graphics on the characters are so believable. No other game really captures that cinematc aspect except for something like Final Fantasy where it might ACTUALLY BE pre-rendered cinema... but in MGS 4 it is all real-time! It's a revolution! The war economy! SNAKE!!!!!!

Thanks for all the input guys :) I never have anyone over to play the PS3 so I just use the second SIXAXIS to keep charged in case other one turns off. So I might trade in my two SIXAXIS for 1 DS3 and get it for cheap . That is if the GameStop here has any DS3s because they are horrible at keeping anything in stock.
