Gamers -and PC gamers at that(!)- showing antisocial tendencies and nitpicking details to the point of vitriol, exaggeration and outright anonymous bullying?! I... I'm trying to imagine a world were such things could actually happen, but... Try... As I might... I just can't!

You know, Mr. Walton, I've done you the courtesy of reading this article more than once. While some of what grates you could be considered subjective or even nitpicky, there is plenty to agree with in your assessment of it's competition and how their business models may well doom Sony if it's exclusives don't carry the day. The one thing that occurs to me, though, is that they could have taken the gun out of your (and any other detractor's) hand and probably made my bank account $400 lighter had they simply added one feature: Video Out capability. By not positioning themselves as a true "fire-breathing, all-powerful, honest-to-goodness, hardcore gaming console-in-your-hands", they've stumbled out the PSP's relative obscurity and into a hornet's nest of Angry Birds and free apps for machines most households already have by the half-dozen.
