Nothing wrong with that goober - if she's flaunting in public then she can't really complain about garnering attention....
poptart
^ This! The mother is quite stupid for accusing the camera guy for any perversion. She is wearing such short shorts, and sticking her leg up in the air in the middle of a busy street... what do you think would happen? :?
That Kairo ghost-walking scene was something I had never seen before and just saw on youtube.... wow! :o
1. The Exorcist 2. Event Horizon 3. The Shining 4. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974 original) 5. Ju-On (Japanese original) 6. Dawn of the Dead (amazing 2004 remake) 7. Paranormal Activity 8. [REC] 9. Suspiria 10. The Thing
On the horror film news front... the film "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" (2010)By Guillermo Del Toro is set to be released soon. The trailer scared the crap out of me -
Because people get insecure about their own beliefs and it makes them feel better to try to disprove others' beliefs (especially if they conflict) munu9
^ This. But more specifically, if another person's beliefs is a threat to yours, you will defend your own worldview as it is somewhat tied in with your self-esteem, self-concept, and who you are. Which is why people may at times appear to be defensive. It's a phenomenon called belief perseverance. I'm a psychology major :P
The last decent horror film I've seen is 28 Days Later...and that movie came out 8 years ago.
Well a few good ones from recent years would be:
The Descent 1&2
Cold Prey 1&2
Triangle
Dead Set
Carriers
La Horde
Rec
Quarantine
Paranormal Activity
The Crazies (remake)
I know many won't share my views but they are movies that i've enjoyed watching.
Nice list! To add to that - The Hills Have Eyes (2006 remake - MUCH better than the awful original) Dawn of the Dead (2003 remake) The Ruins The Mist Battle Royale Haute Tension (AKA High Tension)
Or they know you're going into a lucrative field and want to get in while the going is good..Xx_Hopeless_xX
Or as evolutionary theory would suggest... they would find partners who are doing well for themselves to be great bearers for their children, which would enhance their reproductive capacity and survival of the species :P Who cares, I don't know many people who aspire to marry a garbage-truck driver...
Just saying their motives are unclear..
Heh.. well regardless of motives, it is quite apparent that women will target men who appear to be more powerful in relation to socio-economic standing and societalrespect.
