I'll admit..I wasn't getting the best performance to begin with. But now after the first patch on the same settings I have the most unbelievable micro-stuttering I have ever seen in a game. Also getting about 10 fps average out of nowhere. I was so close to winning a battle defending my city, was not even a huge scale battle. I zoomed in to see my guys throw spears at the enemy and boom. FPS drop. I went to the menu to put the setting lower to see if that helped but it just crashed my game. Not looking good CA. Not looking good. Anyone else haveing even worse performance with the patch?

I'm in Hawaii. I usually do all my shopping on newegg. Do you guys think two 670's or 680's for that matter would be better than one 690? What about the 770's as well? I was really considering getting two 770's.

Most likely gunna be my gpu. But I don't know what to get. I was really looking at a GTX 690 but its pretty expensive. Is there anything out there around the 500 price range you think would be a worthy upgrade?

[QUOTE="Croag821"]I'd wait. I'm a veteran RO1 player and I regret spending so much money on the game. It's definitely a solid game, but it's just in a bad state right now and I find myself getting frustrated playing it. I keep getting gameplay hampering bugs such as the double front iron sights, gun not shooting with first shot (this one gets me killed a lot), and the net code seems to be off. Also the entire stat/progression system is entirely jacked up to the point of no return (I was honor level 7 and randomly got upgraded to 22, I have 1600% accuracy with some guns, I have way to many kills/deaths etc.). All in all in a couple of months I'm sure the game will be awesome, but as it is now I personally find it more frustrating than fun as I always feel I'm battling bugs. I'd advise waiting for things to get fixed and the price to drop.Cloud567kar

So much money on it? You coulda got it for $28 at GMG, the game is amazing. Yea theres a few bugs, but nothing major. In 2 months this will be the multiplayer game to play. There will be free dlc and patches for a long time.

lol wut? there are more than a few.

Random crashes

Guns not shooting/reloading

Cover system is wacked out, half the time I will be in cover and go to use iron sights and he will aim into the wall

Performence is terrible (I have a 2 gig 6950 and an i5 2500k and can only play on medium after the patch)

Menus and navigation in game is atrocious, clicking respawn never felt so horrible. How can menus be this buggy really?

I can't stress enough about the menus, clicking to choose a gun or where to respawn is a hassle.

Russians almost always lose, their guns a are aweful, you need to have a great team in order to beat the axis.

Hit boxes are off, I have unloaded with a PPSH on somone and hit them with the whole clip according to the blood that spatted out only to get killed by a sing bolt bullet.

Guns are like laser, its like playing BF Bad Company. There is barely any bullet drop. What happened to the days of RO1 where bullets would just narrowly miss. Now everything is a hit. Its rediculous.

Climbing ladders on Grain Elevator is aweful.

You have two seconds to get back in bounds if you are out then boom you die. You will never make it back...you always die. And you dont know where the boundaries are until its to late. Boundaries also change depending on what is being captured and you could die two seconds later where it was safe a second ago.

Civer/Bandage/Use ARE THE SAME DAMN BUTTON!!!! THIS IS PC HOW CAN YOU HAVE THREE FUNCTIONS THE SAME DAMN BUTTON!!!!!!

Some of the decisions these guys made i s mind boggling really. With this being said, the game is kind of fun until you get frustrated by one of th MANY bugs......have fun playing this mess of a release.

Just bought an MSI 6950. Love it to death. However my mobo has some components on it that are dying and my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU. I have and old 2.8 GHZ Phenom X II Black Edition. I have been waiting forever for the Bulldozer to come out which is why I still have my old CPU. But I have been an AMD user for a very long time. I am curious as to the benefits of switching over to Intel. I hear many amazing things about their chips.

I never buy new tech on launch day so it wil still be a while before I purchase a Bulldozer if I go that route. However it seems Intel has some amazing chips on the market that obviously have been out for a while. I do not really have a budget......however what I am looking for the most is something that will last a while. Not a chip that will be outdated im a few months. If that means the most expensive chip then so be it. But I am really looking for something to stand the test of time, at least for a bit longer than the usual (very hard to not be outdated in the tech world)

I'd be running games by the way. No vid editing or anything like that. And I am aware I need new RAM and a MOBO. I am just really interested in the Intel chips at the moment.
