In my opinion I really don't think this whole "violent media consumption = acts of violence" theory holds up, in fact it is sorely flawed. Are we to assume that by using this theory we can conclude that Abraham Lincoln's life could have been saved if only the person who carried out his assassination didn't play so many violent video games?? I'm sorry but it just doesn't add up. Look, in all seriousness violence predates the gaming, film and music industries. What is your excuse for the acts of violence that happened then?
