SWTOR first, probably will end up getting both since Guild Wars 2 is not pay to play (which means its longevity is inevitably shorter as the developers can't continually update it. Just look at all the people who said Guild Wars > WoW; yet Guild Wars died many years before today.

That's what I thought too Robbie. I guess it will just be more refined/improved.

It is not a loss of quality. What is happening is that the games look "better" on the ds because it is on a smaller more dense screen. It properly fits the resolution on the ds so it looks "clear and smooth". However, when you blow up the smaller resolution that DS games use and put it on a larger screen you can start to see jaggies and it looks stretched. It's like playing the DS on the PC; even with high graphic option filters it still looks awful playing it in full screen because the image is so stretched and all of the fallacies and problems can be nitpicked to oblivion, pixels become more apparent. So, really, don't think you're getting a downgrade with playing a ds game on the 3ds. Same reason why 360 and ps3 games look awful on large screen TVs.

I chose the Monk because it seemed like a bad ass half melee/half spell caster mix (pallymage vibe!).

[QUOTE="Bigsteve3570"][QUOTE="Renevent42"]I personally thought Torchlight couldn't hold a candle to Titan Quest...in terms of depth and content were talking the difference between a pond and an ocean. With that said Torchlight is one of the best $20 I ever spent on a game and am really looking forward to TL2. I hope the delay means the game will be that much better and not for some other business related reason. It's all good though, tons of a great looking ARPG's coming out this year can't wait!Renevent42

Titan Quest indefinitely had more depth and content, but I thought the talent trees were poorly executed (all of the skills should have been percent based instead of most being utterly useless because they were a flat damage bonus or effect). Titan quest had potential, just needed some tweaking imo (replay value was also a bit lame because of no random map generation; got stale, fast).

Not exactly sure what you were doing wrong, but that's not my experience with TQ at all. Almost every skill was augmented by many different external modifiers such as attributes, weapon damage, +dmg mods, ect, ect.

I have over 200 hours invested in TQ and have made it through legendary many times...most skills are far from useless!

You obviously were doing something wrong then because a lot of abilities were incredibly lame and it wasn't worth investing more than 1 or a few points to get the right augmentation. For example there were talents that would give you a chance to retaliate for a set amount of damage (like 25 for example); utter garbage. Although the damage was effected by some other modifiers it SHOULD have been percent base (ie retaliate for 10% of your normal white swing or something along lines of that) so that abilities could actually scale.

Nah, Guild Wars is effectively dead; if you want an MMO atm besides WoW then I would go with LOTRO (personally). The story/old school exploration element is kind of appealing.

It's definitely died down a lot since the advent of BFBC2. However, I found the gameplay/concept more appealing of BF2 back in the day (when compared to how excited/how much fun you had when it first came). BFBC2 was kind of a let down for me; BF2 was far from realistic, but it felt a lot better than other online shooters.

First was good; at least because of the random floors/levels and talent trees that were dependent on weapon DPS (which in turn calculates basically every bonus you have). Unlike Titan Quest, Torchlight scratched my itch because Titan quest failed on both of those fronts. Second will pale in comparison to Diablo 3, but at least it will scratch that itch before it comes out. Too bad it was pushed back into the summer ... :(
