I believe that a great idea would be to give games such as Brawl which attract so much posting (obviously problematically)on the forums their own forum, rather than confining all discussion about such games to a single sticky, as has happened on the Wii boards. I recognise that this would be too hard to do for ALL games, but certainly it couldn't be impossible to do with the occasional one or two.

I say this because, at the moment, the Brawl sticky which we are all confined to has 30 pages on a 50 message per page display. There are numerous problems with this for users, including not being able to find information or opinions given by other usersabout a certain Brawl-relatedtopic easily and not having their queries viewed easily by other users. I would imagine that it would also be a pain for moderators, enforcing the rule that all Brawl-related discussion be on that specific sticky only, by removing it elsewhere and warning the parties involved.

I thought that this was a good idea and so posted it here for any moderators, and users, to see and comment on.

This would be good in a separate topic because then it would be easier for people to find and for me to see what other people think (which is the whole point of the forums BTW) but because of some unsensible rule I'll put it here...

What are the three things that you would most like to see in Brawl?

Mine are, in order:

1. Pokemon Trainer not really in Brawl (I'm still expecting them to come out with "Ha, ha, YHBT!").

2. All the old stages reinvented graphically and included.

3. Blood Effects. Muahahahahahaha!

That is all.

Waluigi is too lanky and Daisy is too unoriginal. Neither are sport specific characters so why would they get sport orientated moves?

Also, does anyone else think this is a little bit ridiculous? I mean, not to annoy the moderators or anything, but why confine ALL Brawl related communication to a sticky. It's like 30 pages long already. I just got a message (a.k.a. a warning) about a topic that I made, not knowing this silly rule.

Why not set up a separate forum if it is that bad? It really doesn't seem fair for us to have to sift through 30 pages of "DAISY 4 BRAWL YAH W00T!" just because we want to discuss something related to a game.

I would like to see a GTA-esque Kirby game, for hilarity value. Can you imagine getting missions in a seedy alley from King Dedede, the mob boss or having to take out a whole group of Haitian Waddle Dees... It would be fun and innovative.

3D world Kirby? No probs. Just change his jumping system to be more like that of Kirby from the SSB series. He can jump a finite number of times (don't hate me, Kirby purists) and maybe float a bit. He could even have special jumps like Mario.

And they could always release another game by the name of (something like) "Paper Kirby" which would basically be a side scroller ala the more traditional Kirby games, particularly in the style of Kirby's Dreamland 3. Also, Gooey should be shot. He's so fugly and gimp. I've always thought that the 2nd player should have a little more control (over his/her creation, continued existance, etc.)and be a more important character. Maybe like an ally with the same abilities as Kirby.

I think that 3D Kirby would be a refreshing change. It would make the game more difficult, at least, the Kirby games have always been far too easy which doesn't do justice to such a fantastic concept and original character.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Oh, the foolishness of youth. Can you say, "Movie tie-in! AAAAAAAAARRGH!" Also it was COMPLETELY linear and had collectables! You couldn't even repeat levels to get the collectables that you missed!

Stupid and easy.

B.T.W. I can't believe that people have said Super Mario Sunshine and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, I loved those games (but not as much as Melee of course)

Is it just me, or do the items thus far revealed for brawl seem overly cheap?

Look: http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/items/index.html

Especially note: Gooey Bomb, Cracker Launcher, Franklin Badge and Superspicy Curry.

Not to mention this: http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/howto/technique/technique01.html

Itemshave always been shunned anddisabled by the more fanatical and retardedly insecure players (who ALWAYS have to win) who believed that items added a random element that may affect the proper outcome of a battle (which, in their eyes, was them winning). Some of my friends being like this, I can hardly see myself getting to use any of these items nor am I sure that I want to have them used against me!

They just look too cheap. I'm all for items as equalisers, to help noobs against pros, but I'm not sure that using these items would be any fun. Having them used on you certainly wouldn't! Winning or losing so easily, based on a cheap arse item doesn't seem right to me...

Your thoughts?

I'm really ticked off with my situation at the moment. I live in Australia and as of yet we have no release date for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for Wii, among other things.

The thought came to me, since Europe is also PAL region (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just under that impression), could I import games from over there and have them work on my Australian system? Forget cost effectiveness, etc... It's just that I'm sick of Australia getting games and (perhaps more frustratingly) release dates so belatedly.

Can anyone help me with this query?

Oh, P.S. Excuse the signature in advance, sensitive people may find it mildly offensive.
