Oblivion, without a doubt. I loved Gears of War (played through it twice) but when I first got my hands on Oblivion I couldn't put it down. I had never played Morrowind so Oblivion completely blew me away. I've invested at least 200 hours in the game and I'm still not done with it...
ps2 controllers wont be compatible with ps3...no one would have to buy ps3 controllers ever if they could just use their ps2 controllers to play ps3 games. Thats like asking if you can play a Nintendo DS game on a Gameboy Advance.
HALO WONT BE ON PS3 stop asking.
If you want a Nintendo game on ps3 then freakin buy a Nintendo Revo cuz that wont ever happen.
