the worst game you have played (of all times)

what is the worst games you have ever played?

for me, even it was a long time ago (10 years), I still remember the game, because, it was so BAD that I will never forget it !!! the game is Rascal for PSone, I still can't believe I beat such horrible game (I beat it just because, the store wouldn't give me my money back, and I didn't want to waste the money ), because of this game I started to read reviews of games BEFORE buying them.

Wow, cool. The Bible Game. That sounds horribly and bizarre. I gotta try that one. I'm sure the game is closer to reality than the book though :)

No, that's how threads like these work. People come in here and say the worst game they have EVER played turns out to be one that is actually pretty decent or even great. You see everything from GTA to Halo to World of Warcraft to Metroid Prime. Sure, I'm not telling you that you should like them, but the people here act like they have been wronged when they play a game that is merely decent.

Star Wars:Knights of the old Rebublic.

One of the worst RPG'S I've played.

San Andreas. Biggest turd I ever played. The dialog and voice-acting was weak, the story was incredibly unoriginal, and they expiremented with character customization but not anywhere nearly enough. Plus, it has the same boring weapons that's in every other sandbox game and there's a bunch of side stuff to do, but it's all so boring and repetitive.

Ultima IX: Ascension. It was supposed to be epic but ended up being a soft, steaming pile of goat excrement.

And I haven't played it, but I've also heard Vanguard should get honorable mention for worst game ever due to bugginess and ridiculous hardware requirements. (Apparently, the development company literally ran out of money so released it 'as is' with incomplete maps, bugs and all).

I think people are getting confused between 'worst' and 'most disappointing.Phreezuk

Yep. And there's also a confusion of "I don't find this particular game enjoyable" and "this game is terrible". A game can be disliked, but still have some merits that make it worth playing or even recommending to someone else who might be more inclined to enjoy it.

The worst I've probably played was some old Kool Aid games for the Atari 2600. I don't even remember the name of it, but it was a game a friend of mine owned. There was just the Kool Aid guy on screen, but nothing happened. None of the controls did anything, from what I remember. Maybe his cartridge was just faulty, or maybe it was supposed to be something deep and contemplative. Here's an image of the Kool Aid guy. Meditate on that.
