Well u need to shave $100 off the price of an xbone somehow, Mr Harrison. The huge cost difference is unjustifiable when there's just a handful of exclusive games for the platform (timed exclusives do not count and "microsoft exclusives" (so also on 360 and PC) also do not count so stfu about Titanfall being xbone exclusive already) and nobody has yet made a game for kinect that gives any real point to flailing around like a spastic.
The very fact that most gamers will not have the ps4 equivalent means virtually no 3rd party devs will touch that crap with a barge pole. Since 3rd party publishers release FAR more than 1st party, making a kinect mandatory to ensure it's use is still FUTILE.
lolwut. That may have been true of older generations of console because they were SO far removed from the norm of the time (super specialized chips for rendering, sound, logic, etc) that it took time for developers to get a bit of experience with it. Now it's essentially off the shelf PC parts it's going to be instantly familiar to devs and since it's about as powerful as PC's of the day, PC games wont need to get hit with the ugly stick in order to run on the console. This will inevitably change as PC hardware will continue to evolve and the consoles will lag behind in about 3 years to where we are at the same state as the current gen of consoles we have now.
@chris91090 @AshTrai so if some random website makes a list of games they liked that year it means they can tout "game of the year"? Seems spurious to me :P
They really are coming out with a lot of stupid bollocks to keep the hype-train on track for Destiny. Shut the hell up and just get your head down to build a good game. The audience will decide whether it's epoch making (or not).
