@jack00: that argument doesn't make sense because EA already have the hackers money at that point. Cheaters dont get a refund because they breach the EULA agreement that they agree to before installing the game. The stories of people buying Overwatch like 4 times and being insta-banned is pretty hilarious!

EA/Dice don't do it because, presumably, it's fucking hard to do and keep on top of. Blizzard also has their watchguard spyware (or whatever it's called) running on the computer when u run their games...

At the end of the day, there will be cheaters in this game because it's just a cat and mouse game between the hackers and the admins. It's just a matter of time

So many people hoped for so much more from this game. Maybe in a few sequels they'll actually realise that you can't skate along by just building the levelling up experience and deliver basically nothing else.

It's a shame Kevin wasn't able to review the raid-type content in this review. Will it be added to at a later point to include this?

The only comparable thing to a demo of the old days is pirating the game these days.

It's definitely the only way u'll play something that u'd never of spent money on otherwise.

@unreal849 @code7 Only if a game is sold purely on the basis of marketing hype, hyperbole and/or lies

I've always loved Unreal since i got the original when it came free with the gfx card i bought for the 1st PC i ever built myself. I bought the new computer with the intention to play other games but found that the free game bundled with my gfx card was by far and away the best game i actually had! When Unreal Tournament came out a year later I got it on release day, had months of fun out of it then all the mods popped up for it. Mods like Tactical Ops which were totally different to anything else around at that time.

I went back to UT99 the other day and it surprised me just how many maps were made by cliffy B

A totally free unreal tournament 4 could be a mega hit if they do it right. Considering that UnrealEngine 4 is open source and the flagship game to promote the engine (unreal tournament) is also free ... well we could be on to a total winner. Epic really giving back!

I have never understood why anyone would buy ANY console on launch day. Not only are the machines ridiculously expensive on day0, u've got like 1 or 2 games to play (whether or not they are any good is another matter, it's just the fact that there's so few), u need to wrestle with all the bugs and wait for firmware/software updates plus later on in production there are hardware revisions to fix manufacturer defects and chronic hardware faults. The upside is playing 1 exclusive game before anyone else -- is that worth all the grief?

Consoles are in a strange place atm too. The previous gen was so stretched out that consoles have been left in the wake of virtually everything else. The calling card of a new tier of consoles is that they push the boundaries of graphics etc... but because consoles have been left in the doldrums for so long, when it's tried to play catch up for this generation, it's only caught up to where PC was 3 years ago. When the consoles are trying to impress us with fancy new graphics, it just doesn't.

p.s. An exclusive is not an exclusive if it's released on any other platform!
Exclusive /ɪkˈskluːsɪv,ɛk-/
adjective: exclusive
1. excluding or not admitting other things.

noun: exclusive; plural noun: exclusives
1. an item or story published or broadcast by only one source.

Kinect 1.0 didn't do any "cool stuff" Penello u bullshitting suit. It was an extremely niche product aimed at non-gamers. It was laggy and pointless with a catalogue of games that were as horendous as the device itself.

2 x 0 is still 0. Expanding on a pointless fad will forever be pointless ... oh hai wii-u
