I want to get excited for ACIV. But I'm just not that bothered about it now. Ubisoft have made me lose interest with their constant yearly releases. And the writing of the latest games (Revelations, ACIII) could have been significantly better, especially when you compare them to the first two games. I guess Brotherhood was okay as well, even though it felt a little rushed towards the end.

Personally, I don't think Saints Row is funnier than GTA. Not these days, anyway. SR1 and 2 had their moments, for example when you're doing the Sons of Samedi missions where your character is stoned out of their mind and has to hold off waves of rival gang members. SR3 and 4's style of humour is comparable to that of a bad spoof movie, in my opinion. Other than that, I did find myself agreeing the rest of the points in this video.

And EA wonders why a lot of people despise them as a publishing company...

@Apathy4Marmite Exactly. GTA is miles better than Saints Row, especially these days, but the garage system will always be better simply because players will gladly take being able to save as many vehicles as they like in one garage over realism.

Although it's actually a garage this time around, the "temporary" garages seem to use the same vehicle saving system as the one in GTA IV, which I lost a lot of cars to back in the day.

They should have just taken a page from Saints Row's book and used the garage system that game uses instead. GTA beats SR in many ways, but the garage system isn't one of them.

@LuckySavage Microtransactions themselves aren't a bad thing, it's just the way developers implement them. They make it so earning the stuff in-game is more difficult than necessary. If these microtransactions carry over to singleplayer, then this game is going to become a prime example of this, given the fact that there are hardly any decent paying missions in the game. It pretty much coerces the player into using IRL money and that's why a lot of people hate them so much.

With Gray Fox, yeah. To be honest, they should have just left Raiden alone, unless it was a game bridging the gap between MGS2 and 4. Raiden had his closure in MGS4, there was no need to just open everything up all over again.

Someone tell Kojima that he shouldn't be depressed, as he makes amazing games. As much as GTA kicks ass, I'm looking forward more to MGS V than GTA V.

I'll be waiting anyway. I got burned last time I got the consoles on day one. My 360 went RROD and my PS3 ended up with a faulty blu-ray drive. I'll wait for them to sort out any potential problems first.
