@LE5LO @foxrock66 The game never felt tedious to me; even on my first play-through, I never had to resort grinding for souls, and it'll never happen to you if you play cautiously and allocate your souls properly. It's good not to generalize your experience to be that of everyone else's.

@X-7 And, of course, an emphasis on exploration and freedom of choosing where YOU want to go is also of utmost importance to a Souls game. Thankfully, the trailer seems to heavily imply the explorative nature of the game, so I'm not so concerned about that.

@X-7 Just because they're making the presentation more accessible, it doesn't mean they're adding other difficulties. They still say it'll take "great intestinal fortitude" to play and beat this game, and that it'll be even more challenging than Dark Souls. I think the main concern here is how the narrative structure's going to be handled, and how much possibility they'll be giving to role-playing (customizable character like Dark Souls, for example, as opposed to a set-character with a distinct personality and story you play through, rather than creating one of your own). We can probably also expect more discourse on gameplay mechanics, stats, and other systems in the game that wasn't explained to the player at all in Dark Souls (I personally liked it, but it won't do the franchise any disservice by explaining to the players what these systems do). As long as they don't explain to you tactics of any sort, or on how to approach the game, then I'll be happy.

Damn it... I can't decide whether I'd go Gyro or Joseph.

Too bad it'll probably never make here in the States.

@Stryker_11 They're made with largely synthetic-organic material; for example, the limbs on the Geckos have artificial muscles which need a substance similar to blood.

Will most certainly buy this if it gets a release here in the U.S. - I freaking love JoJo.

@sithodah That's all fine and dandy, but just about everything you said was completely subjective. No, Halo didn't bring anything particularly new to the genre, nor does it have the most fleshed out of universes (its expanded universe has grown quite nicely, however). No, what it was praised for, and still is to this day, is how fully featured and polished every aspect of the game was, on top of a great presentation. What you say about the music, weapon creativity, and Master Chief being a disgraceful character are all opinions with perfectly logical counter-arguments. Why do you think the Halo series has been so critically well-recieved? Hype-machines? Shady bribery? I don't think so. Anyways, I can't wait for Starcraft 2; It's a moment I've been anticipating for the past ten years, and I know that Blizzard will do it justice.
