@deth420 @crix01 Well, gun-control is implicit with laws being passed, so yes, there will be regulation. Banning assault weapons can only be done with state and federal regulation. More government is always unconditionally a bad thing.

@acerx7 It would be a simpler solution to have one or two armed police officers in every school, though there's obvious infrastructural issues with that regarding the immediate future.

@dragonsama Just so you know, it's mostly the conservatives and NRA lobbyists blaming "violent culture" for these crimes, while it's more the democrats going after stricter gun-control. I personally belong to the latter.

@deth420 @crix01 Fair enough. And my point is that firearms need greater regulation. I'm a gun-owner myself, and believe in the privilege of owning a firearm. However, I think there needs to be stricter criteria in owning something so dangerous, and cannot honestly see a down-side in doing so.

@deth420 @crix01 The distinct difference between a car and a gun is that a gun is designed specifically to kill at the pull of a trigger, whereas a car is designed to transport. Intent of design and capacity to kill are something you're overlooking.

@beast70 It may not matter to you, but that hardly means it doesn't matter; how the rest of the world perceives us and our domestic affairs can certainly affect our international relationships on a broader scale. For a more tangible consequence, due to the ease of access of firearms in our country, illegal exports of small-arm weaponry is quite rampant outside of the U.S.; an issue that would be arbitrary or non-existent with more strict gun-control laws.

@crix01 Gun-Control is also a huge object of debate, here. You can almost count on Assault-weapons or variants thereof to be banned in most regions of the country soon enough. Weapons such as shotguns, hunting rifles, and low-magazine handguns for self defense, I'm fine with. It's just items such as aforementioned assault rifles, kevlar vests, and other weapons / items that are meant specifically for killing other people en-masse or tools meant to be used in prolonged firefights, that I don't believe should have access to civilian gun-owners. There should also be a strict licensing system that takes into account psychological stability, safety knowledge, and general proficiency of firearms before anyone can legally own a gun.

@tofushreds Even though Dark Souls II has been more or less in-line with the timeline From went with DeS to DrKS (roughly one year after DeS was released when DrKS was announced, just like DrKS1 and 2), I''m sure they were more than "25% complete" with Dark Souls when it was announced. Realistically, it's probably gonna be in early 2013 when Dark Souls II makes its release. I also don't see this being as too far-fetched, as this game has probably twice the budget or more than Dark Souls did, with a much more sizable production staff.
