[QUOTE="ZoomZoom2490"]

check this out from Forza 3:

the car doesnt even get hit but it does what ever that is.

in other words, forza 2-3 really dont have real-time damage effects.

nethernova

Yeah i have seen that video before too and it is quite amusing, someone made the comment that san francisco rush had better damage effects. Very sadly this may be true

Yeah, nothing beats the superior damage effects of GT5.

gt5

Yes, that is superior. I know that you're trolling by using a Kotaku troll article picture of an old GT5 build, but at least this bad example is showing actual deformation. While Failza's damage is a pre-canned on/off switch of paint scratching and maybe a bumper flying loose.

Even when Stopgapza fanboys' execute their attempts at trolling, they still make GT5 look like the superior game.

Hmmm, I stopped reading at the end of page 2. That video is a JOKE! First off, the kid does not know how to drive, the reason for the "skating" effect is because he is peeling out. He never feathers the throttle! Anyone who has played the game would understand. You can perform things VERY similar in real life, though you will be tearing off chunks of your tire, and will not be able to do it for very long.

The game is more of a SIMULATOR than anything out there, you can dial into nearly every aspect of tuning, and cars handle very well.( I have a 4 door 97 M3, and it is nearly IDENTICAL as the game as far as handling, and BASIC physics go). This is obviously a troll thread and should be locked, the OP should be banned for re-creating a thread, that is/was dead.

GT5 will be a great game, but is not as realistic as Forza, as far as the physics. THough I am sure that I will prefer GT5 as I love all of the challenges, and licenses.

So as long as Turn10 maintains their magic carpet driving model and no custom public lobbies it will forever be little more than a hello kitty car painting fun time game.

GT Lead Designer has a degree in physics and is practically a professional race car driver. Forza Lead Designer has a degree in religion and says he is bored of racing.

Stick a fork in dissolvedza.

Man, Microsoft just keeps getting more arrogant and intellectually dishonest with every PR mouthpiece article they do. I think I have over 20 bad PR interviews saved in the last year alone. I wonder if the fanboys will turn on MS like they did with Sony at the end of the last generation.

Don't worry I am sure you can rewind after not being able to turn because of a terrible delay. This to me is just sad that anyone could get excited about this. Almost as if you like being milked by microsoft for everything you have to get a similar or worse product. Maybe gamespot should RROD every other week and charge 60 dollars a year for nothing, it might make some of you feel more at home.

mrgreen108

Damn, son. I declare this post "Ownage of the year!".

Looks like Gran Turismo is going to remain the sim racing king for a few extra years now. If not, indefinitely!

Man, it's been a BAD week for Stopgapza fanboys.

[QUOTE="edo-tensei"] Well actually play it and you'll realize. :)edo-tensei

I did and this is what I think, so instead of insinuating things maybe post some factual information thats refutes my statement.

You sure owned me:roll:

rofl This guy is in tatters. Mrgreen never said he owned you and you automatically went to this. You couldn't even give him a rebuttal.
