This actually looks pretty interesting, especially the splitscreen thing. What size is that tv for that price? Although I very much doubt it would be anywhere near that good price (if they even sell it at all) in rip off Ireland >:(Yo-gansize = 24" its more like a desktop monitor size than a tv

no it works same as 3D where each eye sees a different image , the angle is not the trick , in the "virtual splitscreen" mode each player will see a different image with both eyes in 2D, the glasses will shut and open simultanoesly on each glass but for each player at a different frame , while compared to 3D mode they shut/open each glass in the opposite order so each eye sees a different frame-setI'd imagine it would work like these moving images on cards that have the odd texture on it. Player sees a different screen depending on the angle they view.

thats understandable , but you have to agree this is a great deal and will help the 3Dgames to spread to a wider audienceNo thanks. I already bought an HDTV just for my PS3. Don't want to buy another one for a while.

i already have a 46" 3D sony tv but this one is so cheap that i seriously consider getting it for my second lan-party ps3 which is currently hooked up to a ol'CRT tv , anyone else planning to get it ? considering id get resistance 3 anyway its even cheaper for me minus the price of that game , and that newsplit screen feature is looking very interresting , hope they make a FW upgrade for the existing sony 3DTVs to enable that feature
dont update if its pointless :D the point is to play onlineOh, another pointless update.

Think you should go with a psp. The psp 3000 is the hotness and way better than a 3ds. The 3ds is yet another gimmick for nintendo to get people to buy their garbage. I have a wii and a ds lite. Don't get me wrong nintendo is cool and all. But, they release hardware like me going through tiolet paper. Their a dime a dozen. Go psp you won't be dissapointed.

Sorry I sold my ps3 and bought a blu ray player. Due to the fact that I never liked the games on it and the psn network disgusted me. I like my psp for a handheld but, ps3 disgusts me. For a console I'll stick to my xbox 360. For a handheld I'll stick to my psp. Everything else is downright garbage hot garbage.
to each his own , but since ps3 and xbox360 share the best games anyway the difference cant be that big imo ... have fun playing whatever u like , thats always the best choice ;)or get a ps3 :D that would be the best move imo and u'll have a dvd/bluray player tooThink you should go with a psp. But that game was really bad.......for my dogs , i mean , how are they supposed to play it with so much variety? dunno that particular one , but i got the free psn rathet booty game and deleted it after 5 minutes of gameplay :D[QUOTE="SuperWheatBoy"]GameSpot has a history of giving unfair scores to first party Sony exclusives, though - I would refer you to Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction.RoOodriGowW
