I hope you're not surprised by these kinds of user reviews on metacritic.

Gameplay wise it's a FPS but with a few twists. Think Bioshock in the way the game lets you tackle most missions how you want to. The guns "feel" good to shoot, the cars handle differently for each one and they "feel" heavy, haven't played a racing game in years but the cars handle fairly realistically. You'll have loads of fun just running around and hunting animals and watching them attack other animals and even the pirates.

Seeing as I just got the game yesterday I'm not that far in but I have to admit I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Which is longer, which has more replay value, which is harder, which has the most to explore? Also posted on the Xbox general forum and the AC3 forum.VoidBeyond2

I had to do the same thing today. I really love the AC series, didn't play AC Revelations but I still enjoyed AC1-ACBrohood. I chose to pick up Farcry 3 today instead and I'm pleasantly surprised.

Id rather get it on 360 because my computer wouldnt probably be able to run it as well on pc, so is there really even a difference, and should i care? Alot of pc gamers go on about how awful it is on 360, but apparently all gamers care about nowadays is graphics. Thanks whoever answers.

Just got the game today for 360. There is some screen tearing every once in a while and some occational frame rate dips. The visual part obviously can't be measured up to a PC's Ultra settings, Watched a few comparison videos of 360 vs. PC and the 360 is probably about medium settings or so compared to the PC. The only consistently noticable thing I have to slightly gripe about is the draw distance.

Regardless of this it's still a good game so far.

Most areas and even characters themselves aren't very 'fleshed' out. There is very little ingame backstory for even the most important characters.

Me and a few other people were talking about how the game could have really used a mailbox system for sending people items ingame. I've had too many friends complaining about how they recieved rocks when I gifted their pawns some pretty expensive and rare equipment. That is shameful.

PAL version? Also why so expensive when we can get a used copy for like 30 bucks on amazon?

What a shame.

I haven't played RE6 yet but judging from Kevin's twitter posts, I highly doubt it.

If you're talking about the DLC that comes with the PC edition, then I hear that DLC comes to consoles in like late Fall or Winter.

I wouldn't worry about it. Usually these players are just punk kids who get some sense of false achievement from doing this.

I usually forgive them as their balls havent dropped yet. One way of distinguishing serious players from others is to bow at a safe distance; if they bow back they are serious players looking for a fair fight, if they try a one hit kill move as you bow, they arent worth your time. One thing i enjoy doing in dark souls is to summon a friend in one of the invader hotspots like the kiln and wait for invaders. When we get invaded i wait at the sideline and let my friend battle the invader first. If my friend wins, great, but if my friend gets killed i let the invader heal himself before I take him on. Its just a good way of maximising your playtime. Some less experienced invaders dont understand the logic of this then other invaders give you a bow of appreciation. I just wish more players would do this.

Very classy. We need more players like you out there. Respect.

Was it specified as "broken"? No, I think not.

This is NOT Skyrim people.

Clearly if you are looking for an openworld-fantasy-sandbox-RPG as to Elder Scrolls, you are looking at a wrong game. This is an action-RPG as to Reckoning or Dark Souls. Surely it has it flaws but I think its not "broken", it just fails to deliver the exploration with an ineffective AI (as Skyrim was). But like I said, this is an action game so its okay, feel the action.

Considering this is Capcoms first real go at a open world action RPG I think it's pretty amazing. However, there are some story inconsistences, tech flaws and other small things that make it less than would it could possibly have been. The gameplay, which comes first for me personally is probably the best I have played.
