I have them all, and I maxed them all. Sorry, I guess I don't know what I'm doing. I run WIC at MAX at 35 fps. Bioshock? Are you kidding? It's the freaking UE3 engine. A lot of cards can max those out.

For having such a good computer, you really don't know much about the games and their requirements. :(

I guess people consider a minimum fps (probably 60) when they say "maxed."

It's completely playable, I don't know why people would do such a thing. And I run Bioshock and UT3 and CoD4 at 70+ FPS with this card.

lol, ok, keep lying to yourself. Ive been PC gaming since I was 5. I know what parts can and cant do. And your card cannot max these out, Bioshock is the only one you could get close to but Lost Planet? Sorry, nope.

No, it doesn't really matter. They're all using the same basic hardware from nVidia. The main differences across the brands will be warranty, clock speeds, and add ons like free games.

My personal favorite is eVGA because of a good warranty and the Step Up program. XFX and BFG are also good choices.

Yeah, id agree with that. Personally I deal with XFX, they have never steered me wrong.

He said he can "run" any game. He never said he can run it the way developers intended for it to be played...with all setting maxed out. What he's doing is the equivalent of saying his B&W can play ANY movie out today. Sure, but he isn't seeing what was actually MADE. He's seeing a stripped down and incomplement version of the whole product he bought.

Which game can I not run on max? Besides Crysis, which I can still run at high with DX10 hacks.

If thats your opinion, then thats fine. However, last year there were dozens of games that had come out in each genre, many of them being fantasic, so I really cant see how you could claim that there arent enough games to jusify a gaming PC as there were hundreds of games released with some of them being some of last years best offerings. Games Like Bioshock, COD4, Burning Crusade, Jade Empire, Halo 2PC, Crysis, Stalker, The Witcher, Hellgate, UT3, World in Conflict, C&C3, Gears Of War...........There must at least a few in there you like?

I had to update even with 32 bit Vista. Sound issues always seem to plague me it even happened with 32 bit XP. This is a minor issue that is well worth it when building your own rig. Glad you have everything running.8)roulettethedog
