I'm more of Naughty Dog fan boy than a ps3 one. Though I do play my ps3 a lot more than my 360 but I will admit this game is a flop here in SW! I'm just glad every other review site is loving it. Why didn't Kevin review this game? He is a lot better than Tom who can barely speak a clearly and express his thoughts in a coherent manner

Uncharted followed by Mass Effect. I love just how easy and fun the Uncharted series is to pick up.

[QUOTE="Nonstop-Madness"]some sort of co-op mode/s would be great. I rather it not have a multiplayer but still some extra value. Desmonic
Yeah, a seperate co-op campaign could be very cool. But I reckon it'll be an expansion or a modification of the co-op we had in UC2 and UC3.

Though Co-op in UC3 is good I'm hoping for a seperate campaign with a good story not the piece mail thing in UC3.

Has anyone told Sony we are in a bad world wide recession. They think people are going to pay money for cutting edge worthless technology when most people are just getting use to LCD's that have 720P. I love the playstation brand but I think Sony is dommed to fail if they push this junk in times where people just want better quality products and cheaper prices.

Why not Chloe or Elena from Uncharted? We have drake but a female counterpart would be great also. I think both those characters are popular also since they are from the Uncharted series. If it could only be one I would pick Chloe but at least having a recent popular Sony female character would be nice even if it isn't the main one in the uncharted series. You can still play with Chloe and Elena in MP and Co-op also so they are playable.

Not sure why anybody hasn't brought them up but how about Elena Fisher and Chloe Frazer from Uncharted. Yes they already have drake but having one of them will allow for a female version. I personally hope for Chloe and unlike Fat Princess you can play with her in Co-op and MP. So Sony please bring them with the Nariko from Heavenly Sword also even though she is Not as popular for some.

[QUOTE="Pikminmaniac"]

Uncharted 2 will not be remembered later down the line.

4dr1el

1st. You're not Nostradamus to know that

2nd. Going by the amount of people that put U2 in their top 5 games of all time (and trust me, they're not few, mostly because many only started gaming this gen) I can safely say you're wrong. Many people loved U2. I'm pretty sure it'll be remembered down the line

The ship leve was the best part of UC3. I agree while the story had a more dark deep side to it the plot seem to fall apart at the end. The pacing was horrible for the first 12 chapters. UC3 was a good game but paled in comparison to UC2's SP story. I will say the MP in UC3 is better over all and I still play it to this day. UC1 had a better overall pacing then UC3 except some of the those firefights became a pain. UC1 just felt like a natural story and was great first effort. UC2 just evolved so much more the gameplay over UC1. Unfortunately it seemed that UC3 was a bit rushed especially at the end(ch.20-22 sucked) otherwise it could have been as good as UC3. I hope UC4 changes things up and gets away from the heavy scripting of UC3 and allows a little bit more exploring and alternate routes to battle. UC2 is a masterpiece and my favorite game this gen and deserves all the praise it got. I understand some people don't like linear games and that is fine but the game is enjoyable by most if you look at the sales and the praise it got.

[QUOTE="firefluff3"]

[QUOTE="JohnnyCageMK"]The lack of hype and advertising killed it. The game is amazing but you would think after 8 years of development R* would have advertised the hell outta this game. NirdBerd

Did it sell well in the UK? saw it on bus stops, billboards everywhere here

I think Max Payne 3 was battling Diablo III for #1 on the sales charts.

I live in London and I saw Max Payne 3 billboards just about everywhere I was. There was at least 1 at every tube station aswell, and bus stops and there was one near my house.

Yes besides them being platered on TV during the NBA playoffs I saw them on buses and bus stops all over Atlanta also. Just not an interesting game for most people. I think people are getting tired any game where the majority it involves shooting.

[QUOTE="SPYDER0416"]

[QUOTE="JohnnyCageMK"] I only saw one Max Payne 3 commercial but they showed Diablo 3 and Ghost Recon commercials all the time.FrozenLiquid

Yeah, there were a bunch of those "Technology and Design" type videos released on YouTube and their website, as well as a couple of TV spots, but it wasn't on the level of GTA IV or Red Dead Redemption in terms of marketing. Not a lot of television and magazine ads like those games had, and it also came out the same time as Diablo III which might have taken some PC sales (especially since it came out two weeks after the console versions).

The reviews were really good for it, but also not on the level of like "10's everywhere" that GTA and RDR had, more 9's and 8's.

They really should have pushed it more, its the best third person shooter I have enjoyed thus far this generation.

Guys, I don't mean to be offensive, but you probably needed to go out more. The game was, and in some cases still is everywhere. Just today I saw it still plastered on the side of a bus even a month after release. That's about as long as the marketing campaign for the Avengers.

You can read about it here.

Yeah, MP3 had tons of advertisement. They posted the commercial over and over during the NBA playoffs that I thought I was seeing a big hollywood blockbuster. Those are really bad sales number considering all the commercial dollars put into the game. I guess people though it was just another generic action Hollywood flick and not a game. LOL
