Everyone, thanks for your replies. I'm going to try the modem first as I'm just going to be doing small browsing like updating the XMB firmware and checking out the PS store. Otherwise, not much internet usage. However, with what TM said, I'm wondering if that puts the risk of burning the modem out quicker.

My cable modem has two outlets on it for internet connectivity. It offers ethernet and USB B. If I were to have my modem connect to my PC with a USB A/B cable, am I able to connect my PS3 to the modem's ethernet port and be able to surf the internet with it?

Well, looks like my question just got answered. I was wondering if MGS was available on the PS store. I'd also like to see FFVII. As far as RE, why not? It is a classic and I'm sure lots would like to see it available.

It does a little bit, about the whole "Who am I" bit, but it seems to stop there. They've made ton of shows with that theory. Cause no one has any imagination and they try to run what works.

However, the game looks neat, but we'll have to wait until 9/15/2008 (unless they change that date, of course) to find out.

I still enjoy my PS2 (even tho I'm getting a PS3 tonight) because of the availability of games still being ported/built onto it. Don't lose faith, gotta love the PS2.

Does the story remind anyone else of Borne?agentfred

Do you mean "Bourne" as in the Jason Bourne movies?

It helps a lot as I already own a 2GB SD card. And, my program (Any Video Compressor) utilizes Divx. Thanks! :)

From looking around, I should be able to switch out my 'ethernet to ethernet' cable (leading from my modem to my PC) to one of those 'USB 2.0 A/B' cords. The ones where one side is USB and the other side looks to go to a printer (which my modem has one of those jacks as well).

Y'know, try as I might and looked around, I could not find an answer to my question. So, maybe someone on here can help me. I'm wondering how big of an SD card I would need to put a movie on. I have a compression program as well, if need be, I'm just curious how big of an SD card I would need.

I'm kinda curious into putting a movie onto an SD card and then transfer it to the PS3's HDD.

_MysTseO_ , thanks for the picture. So, it has a digital optical output. Perfect. I'll just swap my two preexisting cables (from DVD player and PS2) into it. Thanks!
