Bumpage!!!buzzard31581

Bumpage 2: The Return To Bump.

This ranks up there in importance. Being able to sort your games by release date. A must have feature!

RoE isn't a standalone expansion - as in the two versions need to be in the same folder so that they can share files.

With that said though you could probably install DOOM 3 where Steam would install DOOM 3 (Steam\steamapps\common\doom 3) and then install RoE, which will make a d3xp folder in that doom 3 folder. It would probably work.

You do know about the id Software Super Pack though, right? $70 for nearly the entire id Software catalog? (minus quake 4 and a few hexen 2 packs). It's a good deal if you'd go back and play through the older games. I'm playing the quake 2 mission packs right now. :)

Here's what it looks like when it's working:http://www.gamespot.com/games.html?platform=5&category=First-Person+Shooters&type=games&mode=all&sort=release&dlx_type=all&sortdir=asc&page=1

This page shows all upcoming and already released First Person Shooters for PC sorted by Release Date. It's impossible to get to this screen through the gamespot interface.

Try it yourself:

Go to All Games and filter the list by PC and by First Person Shooters - it immediately switches to, "Top Games" rather than, "All Games" - which means you now cannot see anything that hasn't been released yet.

To see the desired list you have to edit the address bar and change the type from "top_rated" to "games" so that it displays everything.

Please fix this, it's pretty annoying. :)

Thanks!

Game genres annoyance:

Go to the link at the top of this post. Clive Barker's Jericho, a First Person Shooter is not in it...because it's under the genre, "Horror Action Adventure" - A particular genre I have complained about before (due to that you cannot actually select Horror as a genre but only Action Adventure) - but that's a different discussion.

This time the problem I have is that it's not just Horror Action Adventure, it's A Horror Action Adventure First Person Shooter. It's first person and you have automatic weapons. Being able to select more than one genre when filtering a list...or Gamespot putting the game in more than one genre so that it shows up in either one, would be ideal.

---

That's all. The magical changing All Games list and the limited genre selection annoyance.

Thanks!

I think it's been mentioned before, but I also agree with this and would like to see it added.icytower38
i try to mention it once a year until it happens :Psmerlus
Yes, this is a must have feature! :D Kind of sad that the mods and admins don't reply in the requests for this feature, it gets requested way too often, yet they seem to ignore it.

The, "All games" and "new releases" pages have release dates...why not the games that you're tracking and the games in your collection?

I came here to request the same feature. :)

I'd like to be able to sort both the tracked games and the my games collection pages by their release dates. It would be very useful!

Yeah. :P

Any word on this, Moderators and Admins? :)

This is important like Pootie Tang eating cheeseburger-flavored Gelato while riding a bicycle. Without the healing light from such acts, puppies will dissintegrate like deep-fried snickers.

It would be extremely nice if when browsing through the, "All Games" section if horror was a selectable genre. Horror would display games with the genre description of Horror, Survival Horror, Horror/Action Adventure, etc. I want to find scary games and the lack of this option is making it difficult to narrow the list down.

I believe that adding the option to select horror in the genre list is essential to the quality of this site. The horror genre is huge and should not be left out. :)
