Prince has lost his edge in this installment

The first Prince of Persia games blew me away with their awesome graphics and fantastic combat systems and puzzles. I just felt that this Prince of Persia was kind of like a rush job and they missed out on those important parts of the game.

Prince has lost his donkey and while looking for it stumbles across a princess who's land is in danger. An evil god has been released and is tainting the world with it's darkness. It's your job to save the realm.

This time you do not travel alone. Princess Erika is there to help you out in tough spots with her magical powers. She can swing you around the stage, help you clear gaps and even help you fight. I thought that she might be a hastle to the flow of the game, but it actually turns out that she rarely ever is in the way. As a matter of fact she's pretty useful.

The graphics is in the 2.5D style. I am still indecisive it I like that or not, but either way, the environments are pretty gorgeous. The acting is pretty good, with a lot of humor in it!

The game it's self is rather easy. You'll be able to clear the game in less than 10 hours if you are not set on finding all the magic orbs of Omaz. The fighting is very easy and actually very repetitive.

It's an okay game and doesn't really offer as much as the first games. It's short and it's lost it's seriousness, which isn't always a bad thing, but this just did not feel like Prince of Persia. It was more like a spin off or a game just riding on the name of the previous games.
