PS Vita Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault lands January 29
Portable version of action game arrives late next month; free Metropolis multiplayer map also on the way.
The PlayStation Vita version of Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will arrive January 29, Insomniac Games announced today through the PlayStation Blog and Twitter. The game was previously planned to launch alongside the PlayStation 3 version last month, but was delayed.
Full Frontal Assault takes advantage of Sony's new Cross-Buy promotion, whereby those who purchase the PS3 version will receive the PS Vita iteration for free.
Insomniac also announced today that a new patch is due out for the PS3 version of Full Frontal Assault. It addresses community requests and fixes balance issues in the game's online component and campaign. Additionally, Insomniac is allowing players to beef up their weapons even more by adding two further levels to in-game guns.
Lastly, Insomniac revealed that a second patch for Full Frontal Assault in January will add the Metropolis multiplayer map based on the famous Ratchet & Clank location. This map will be free for all.
