looks great! i rather wait then have it rushed out. the bugs in the first metro where really gamebreaking sometimes. besided that one of my favorite games of all times :-)
These games are awesome. But they need our support, I will support these games till the end. Pls don't let this end up like stalker!
1 Like I just bought Metro 2033 and received it in the mail today! I'm going to wait until tonight to play it. I'm excited. I know it's going to be great and I can't wait for the sequel; it looks beautiful.
one of the hardest and greatest game i played and by level designing and graphices it looks one of the bests too

@PeterDuck good point really! that the main prob in FPS and i never understood why just a few games has voice acting for main character!
Can't wait! I purchased Metro 2033 awhile back on steam but just recently loaded and started playing it. I love this game, I just couldn't put it down, it's too bad it had a rough start because this game is excellent and deserves a lot more than what other FPS get.
Not quite sure if the right way of doing a preview is to quote what the developer said about the game or tell what is in the demo (as shown on screen). It sure be more like about you giving us your thoughts about the game at the initial stage.
Really enjoyed 2033. Like it said in the video, it was a little rough in places, but was so much fun and had such a great setting that it's very easy to look past the faults.
Hope that they do polish this game.....the first game had so much potential but the gameplay was often ruined by the scripted events and some parts were almost impossible to pass, if you dont die your AI partner does and you have to restart it again......the story too was ruined by the voice acting.... just horrible
Looks awesome. Totally getting it. Not sure if I'm getting Wii-U or PC version, though. Depends on how the Wii-U version looks and how they use the controller.

Impressive...though as others have said such terrible voice acting in the plane, its hilarious.

@bigrick1 yeah i was going to do that despite the quality of voice acting, for the same reasons you gave.
I definitely played the first game with Russian dialog and subtitles. I will do the same for this one ;) Very underrated awesome game!
The first game was amazing, and the graphics on PC were astonishing.
I think that Metro and STALKER are one of the best FPS out there.
i just love the innovative look of the weapons in the game,shows how humanity is clinging onto life by making weapons outta scrap etc.

this is also great marketing for the previous game, people will want to see what happened 2033
@Welshmun The only fiction novel I ever actually enjoyed. Aside from 2034, but still haven't finished that yet.
@Vaultboy-101 @Welshmun Hi guys.you are right. Both books is realy good and I can confirm this as a Russian speaker. But Actually we have metro 2033 series of books by different authors.these are different stories about different places and heroes, but the main theme is here. Translation of books or games is a very difficult job. You can't simply translates jokes, slang etc. and you will loose part of game or book athmosphere for sure. I guess this game will be interesting for people from different countries. But foreign people can't imagine what you feel playing this game when you see on a screen metro station where you were today or near which your office or home located.
1 Like so far: all flash, no substance. the gameplay doesn't seem to be anywhere near Stalker. looks good, though.
@groowagon The main difference between the two games is that Metro is more scripted and linear while in Stalker you were usually handed a huge area to explore. I loved all Stalker games... even tough they were not brilliantly optimized or anything. Loved Metro 2033 because of the setting the feel it gave you while you were walking around, the atmosphere was amazing and the gunplay was really good in my opinion. Bit hard some parts but really rewarding when you got it right. And now that the whole action is moving above ground more and you can see tragedies like the airplane crash while seeing the bombs go off... well it's creating an atmosphere just from this little 4 minute video. Really waiting for this one.
