This premise is worn out by the pretenders that do it half a**ed. Deep Silver does it in a way that makes it epic no matter what. Stalker was perfect. There is nothing wrong with severe immersion in a realistic world. I've bought all your stock up. Dont let me down guys. :)
Oh yeah, also good call on The Mist, haven't watched it in ages and really need to get hold if it on Blu-ray...
Can anyone say if you can get into this one without playing the first? Or is it quite important? Though I guess no one really knows at this point...
Looks promising though, might be one I hold out for while I get my gaming PC ordered...
Oh hell, not a hit indicator again. Please give us the option to turn it off. How can you feel immersed in an environment if a cross keeps popping up every time you hit something...
Looking really great. I loved Metro 2033 even with its bad graphics and very basic gameplay. The plot and atmosphere are really nice!
I sometimes forget how amazing videogames look these days! Holy cow!
Will have to go and play Metro 2033, had it for AGES and not touched it yet.
I've played and completed the last metro game which was called 2033 I think, it was a long time ago anyway, this is similar to the last game and in fact it looks just like it. I don't see if there were any improvements made but there is not too much you can do but? Looking forward to play it.
Don't care for the digital watch, prefer classy watch from the first one, it looked high tech but it still had minute hands.
the fact that a medium sized developer creates such a nice post-apocalyptic first person shooter ,is alone worth the praise....if there is a game you should buy in May,its Metro:Last Light...supporting efforts like this, gives gaming a brighter future :)
I'm quite looking forward to this game looks very atmospheric but I might be a bit biased because I always regretted not playing 2033
Games are all about immersion . and if the developers made simple things like picking up ammo more realistic , actually taking a second to switch to another weapon with animations and everything , it would help quite a lot.
I always put extra 2 points over the average score of any THQ game verses the main reviewer with arguing (him) about redundant in THQ games in general .Gamer s unlike reviewers have two eyes one for game play and the other for the story line . We care for both and sometimes we Sacrifice one for the other to keep our hype in games that we love .
See, Halo 4, this is how you do good visor effects without making the player squint through a wall of random blue lines.
@daviz88 I'm sick of the first person perspective.
@moc5 Deep Silver is the Publisher not the creators .. just FYI
@Subaru1980 bad graphics? Did you play the same game I did? Cranked up, the graphics were quite nice, not groundbreaking, but very good indeed.
@Baroni88 next gen graphics will far surpass this
@Baroni88 Well, it is most likely on PC in the video. Also, if you look to the left hand info column, notice that is says "Also on: 360, PS3, WIIU." Unless that is a mistake, it looks like this will be a current gen game.
@blackwing55 You missed out. There was a promotion where all you had to do was "like" the homepage on Facebook a while back, and you got a free game key for PC on Steam.
@NervoZa I beg to differ. Games are all about fun mechanics but immersion sure doesn't hurt.
@mastakush89 he must've played on console.
@naomha1 OK my mistake and bad is pushing too far. The thing is visually Metro 2033 wasn't that brilliant. Again I loved the game :)
