A dog that has developed fleas over the years

User Rating: 6.3 | bleemcast! Metal Gear Solid DC
I was very interested with Bleem to begin with. While most people were playing Metal Gear Solid 2 on PS2 I had to be satisfied with Headhunter (not a bad substitute) or the original Metal Gear. I purchased bleem having read rave reviews that it could radically smooth the playstations boxy lines.

I already had the Tekken Bleem and was suitable impressed. This version however was a disappointment. While it was never the graphics of the original metal gear that drew people to it I was still expecting the might of the dreamcast to pull its weight on the graphics.

Needless to say Bleem does not pull it off with Metal Gear. Graphics are replaced with unusual colours and the overall grainyness of its appearance is still evident. MGS 1 is a fantastic game so please treat this review as primarily directed at Bleem on the DC rather than MGS 1 on the PS

If your desperate to play MGS 1 grab a Gamecube and play the revamp Twin Snakes (it'll probably end up cheaper in the long run)

Buy this only if you want to increase your dreamcast's games library
