Simply Put the Best Game Ever Made!

Metal Gear Solid is based around a character called Solid Snake. It follows on from the previous games on the NES. Solid Snake has to infiltrate a nuclear compound on Shadow Moses Island, Alaska that is held by terrorists who are planning to launch a nuke unless the government hands over Big Bosses remains. The team is led by Snake's twin brother Liquid Snake.

The gameplay is outstanding. It really sets the tone for the sequels in the series. The graphics aren't very good for today but what makes a game is gameplay not graphics. Hideo Kojima is a gaming genius, his story telling makes you glued to the screen during the cut scenes. The boss fights are moderately hard, expect a few loads. The gamespot review is a complete farce, the game is just amazing. If there was a game that was the best ever made this is it! It is an instant classic! The first time I ever played was last year and it is glorious!
