Not as good as some previous, but will do.

User Rating: 6.7 | Mario Party 5 GC
Mario Party 5 is a good party game, at best.

Gameplay: 7/10 - Good
Gameplay is pretty much the same as the older games. They now use capsules instead of items, which you can place on the board, or use on yourself for a coin cost. Setting items on a board can be traps or fortunes. Enemies who land on your traps will face consequences. However, if you land on your own trap, you too will face the consequences. Mini games aren't as fun as they used to be, though, and I'm being generous with a 7.

Graphics: 7/10 - Good
Graphics could use improving. The graphics are almost the same as the Mario Party 4, with the same models, etc. The boards have fair detail, though.

Sound: 8/10 - Great
I have no problems with the sound. They might have stayed similar to Mario Party 4, but will still do well with me since I don't care much for the sound. It does fairly well though. Everything is light-hearted!

Value: 6/10 - Fair
For some reason, I find lasting a board game for 20 turns can't be completed in my first go. Simply because the turns get really tedious and repetitive. Even with the multiplayer.

Tilt: 6/10 - Fair
This game was a bit of a disappointment to me, it was just a fair mario party game. I highly recommend not buying this game, but just renting it. Unless you have lots of friends, you really wouldn't want to buy it. Stick with Mario Party 4.
