Possibly the weirdest game ever made, and sometimes it's just too sick and confused, but still it remains very cool.
The overall look of the game is unike and quite simply stunning. The whole game looks like a comic, and its use of colors is awesome. The presentation is one of the best I've seen in a long time featuring several amazing cut scenes.
The sound is also great, though (like everything else in Killer 7) it's very weird! All the voices in-game sounds twisted and kinda reversed, so your completely depended on reading the subtitles to understand anything at all. The music is cool and different. Killer 7 plays unlike anything else. It's kinda like Resident Evil, though still very different. You simple hold down the A button and you'll run, and you run on rails. Which means you can't turn left or right at any given time, you're given the choice where to run when it's an option, like: Do you want to go into the house, or run further down the road. When you want to shoot, you enter first person perspective. Here you can shoot, charge special shots, and scan the environment. Cause the only way you can see the enemies is by scaning in first person view! You can hear them laughing, and then it's up to you to find them! They're called Heaven Smiles you see, and they are invisible, and almost like zombies! There are several types of Heaven Smiles, but they all have their weak spots, and it's up to you find it. It's most likely just a yellow dot on their chest or arm or something, but sometimes it's more complex. The game offers a lot of action, though it's actually more like precision aiming and shooting. There's a lot of riddle solving as well, being mostly very simple, it's still very saticfying. You have 8 characters you control in Killer 7. There's Garcian Smith, Dan Smith, Kaede Smith, Coyote Smith, Kevin Smith, Con Smith, Mask De Smith, and Harman Smith which you can only play when you have to. All the characters have special abilities such as becoming invisible and reviving other team mates. You have to choice between them all the time, and this is one of the main gameplay elements of Killer 7. The game is quite long and features a great storyline. It's very japanese, and very psycho, but still it's worth a try, cause it's one of the most original games on the market. +
The presentation is awesome with amazing graphics and stunning cut scenes. All the different killers are cool. Lengthy and interesting story. -
