Love it or hate it..

For the first 30 minutes of playing Killer 7, the game I was told was going to blow my mind, break down barriers among video games and confirm Capcom as the company of the future. However, I was sat there pad in hand, having died for the third time cursing at the screen and complaining that the game was broken. This was not the game it was supposed to be.
An hour later, I was facing the first boss. This game was amazing, I had just got what Capcom were trying to do here. After moving through the game within a weekend I realised that this game was probably the best game I had ever played in my life and it did blow my mind, it broke down all video gaming barriers, and now there is no doubt that Capcom are kings of the industry.
The gameplay is very strange however, as mentioned early for the first 30 minutes you believe that the game is broken due to this system. However soon you realise it is you who is broken. To play killer 7 you have to forget everything you ever knew about this type of game, the 'on-rails' aids the beautiful pace of this title and when mastered really does make the game come to life.
The sights withing Killer 7 are great. The graphics are beautiful and aid the games surreality and gives it a very polished feel. The sounds arent as good as they could be however, the music isnt that good and the game has a habbit of repeating the same catchphrases for characters which tend to grate after a while. Aside from the sound, which is still adequate, its just no metroid prime, this game is practically perfect. The difficulty is pitched well and with unlockable elements its got some replay value. WARNING: This is not for casual gamers. However, all those interested give it a go, at least.
