Iron Man 2 is simply a good overall game and it has very good and exciting combat.

I don't care what the critics say and I don't care what Gamespot says. I think Iron Man 2 is a good game and a fun game. The only three things that were better in the first game is the flying speed, the graphics, and there were more levels in the first game. Five more levels in the first game and that wasn't enough either.Everything else in iron man 2 is a an improvement over the first game. I rated the first game 6.5 out of 10. So this game is better overall than iron man.A good improvement over the first game. The combat and the gameplay are much better in iron man 2. The story is a lot better too. I love the controlls and the lock on feature. You feel a lot more powerful in this game than the first. You feel a lot more like Iron Man.

I would have rated the graphics better,but the facial graphics (Especially Tony Stark's and Rhodes faces) are terrible. Flying is too slow in this game. Good variety to the mission types. There are six dirrerent mission types (1)protect (2) escort (3) rescue (4) huge boss fight with Ultimo (5) Destroy (As in the last of the seventh mission where you have to destroy the A.I.M.'s arc reactor) (6) Prevent mission (This is the first mission when you have to prevent roxon forces from stealing the jarvis code). Not eneough marvel super villains. There are just two (1) Ultimo and (2) The Crimson Dynamo. Also this game is way to short. Only about a five hour play through. This is very dissapointing. As well there are not enough human enemies in this game. Not enough Roxon and A.I.M. soldiers. Like the first game, this game is repetitive, with repetitive enemies. You mostly fight (1) robots (2) tanks (3) gun ships (4) armored vehicles (5) Turrets (6) Armigers (7) the Arc Armiger (8) some soldiers (As I said not enough soldiers in this game. Just around seven roxon soldiers and four A. I.M. soldiers) (9) Boss fights. How ever this game has good level design. Out door and in door environments. Unlike the first game that had repetitive level designs. In the first game it had all out door environments.There are a lot of bad camera angles in this game. Also I can't believe they didn't put Whiplash in this game. What were they thinking. Only eight levels in this game. There should have been a lot more. The first game had thirteen levels and that was not enough too. This game has a lot of fun and cool destruction. In this game you can destroy whole buildings. There are five super villains in this game and they are great: (1) The Crimson Dynamo (2) Protean hybrid cyborg villain (3) The Arc Armiger (4) Dewitt in his armored suit (5) Ultimo

Overall as I said I really think Iron Man 2 is a good overall game and is a blast to play. I love Iron Man.

Improvements over the first game:
(1) Gameplay is much better
(2) Much better level design
(3) Smarter and faster enemies
(4) No respwaning enemies
(5) No respawning objectives like in mission #11 of Iron Man game
(6) Combat is a lot more fun, faster paced and more powerful
(7) Controlls are much better and a lot more fluid. The lock on feature is great.
(8) Flying is a lot more fluid and easier to controll
(9) Better replay value
(10) Better boss battles
(11) Not frustrating like the first game
(12) More bigger epic enemies
(13) this game actually has a lot more tech based enemeis ( Such as robots, drones, droids, and cyborgs)
(14) A lot better story
(15) Better dialogue
(16) A lot more destruction (This game has destructible environments)
(17) You feel a lot more like Iron Man in this game.
(18) Mission Objectives are a lot better this time
(19) Missions are better thought out and are a lot better period.

Things not as good as first game:
(1) the flying is a lot slower
(2) the graphics is not as good as the first game
(3) the upgrade system is a lot more complicated
(4) There are less levels in this game.
(5) the levels are smaller than the first game.
(6) Explosions are not as good as the first game.
(7) The ground combat was much better in Iron Man. The running in Iron Man was a lot faster.

So overall Iron Man 2 is a good improvement over the first game. Thats why I rate Iron Man 2: 7 out of 10.
