Interesting Story involving 2 very interesting characters. Lots of action, and a tiny amount of puzzles.

It's been ages since I last played a Fantasy game that was aimed at something for those who like Co-Op games. I was really happy to see that Hunted actually takes advantage of the Onscreen Co-Op mode I so dearly missed.

You play as 2 characters. E'lara or Caddic. They are Mercenaries looking for work and riches. They quickly find themselves in the middle of a plot where men are being used as slaves and Slick. You play through 6 chapters to find the one responsible and try and stop him. On the way you also meet a guide that points you in the right direction. Well, actually you're just doing her bidding for money.

The game has fair graphics. Nothing flashy, and nothing I've not already seen in many other games. It's kind of dark and dingy, but it serves the purpose of the story. The characters have a great chemistry and you find yourself laughing at them more than once. Sarcastic Elf and the careful Brute. Great combination.

The Spells are okay. You've got 6 to pick from and you can upgrade them using Crystals you find along the way. Both Characters have the same basic Magic spells, but E'lara has more Bow related enhancements, and Caddic more forceful ones like dash attacks. It's sucks that they have exactly the same powers, but it's okay. It doesn't ruin the game.

What does make it a bit worse than it could have been is the checkpoints and saves. You think you just reached a checkpoint, and that it's safe to switch off and go to bed...but it's not. You find yourself the next morning disappointed because you have to replay an hour's worth of game time from the previous night. This was truly annoying beyond measure.

It's an average game that doesn't really do anything super new to reignite the franchise and it kinda just sticks to what works. Slashing action. There are some puzzles, but they aren't all that impressive.

I would say if you enjoy playing Co-Op games, this might be a good choice for you, else, don't bother.
