Excellent add-on to GTA IV
These new story lines which at times show me another side of the story I was already in, are truly a great addition to an already great game. I love the new perspective...even if there were no other additions to the game...this alone would make it worth the price.
However, there are many additions. First and foremost....DRIVING THE MOTORCYCLES... is much more fun in the Lost and the Damned. It is much more forgiving and allows you to ride the bike without fear that the slightest bump will send you flying. Don't get me wrong, you can still have a horrific crash, but a little bumping here and there is no big deal now and you can keep on riding. I was concerned about having to ride the motorcycles all the time because the mechanics of it were so touchy in the original game, but this is a vast improvement.
I also love that they added checkpoints in the right spots to keep me from having to repeat a long drive at the start of a mission. They have done a much better job with this in this version.
Overall, the game is just as enjoyable, fresh, and innovative as it was on the day for GTAIV's release. Go pick up these episodes and we will see you in the online multiplayer!
