The only saving grace for this game is that it introduces you to Claude Speed.

This game reeks. I wish I could only write that, because a well thought out review is too good for this game. It's a carbon copy of the first one and it almost scared me into thinking that the third installment wouldn't be any different. Thank God it didn't turn out that way. The non-linear gameplay is still in tact, but the top down perspective makes it hard to tell who is who. Also, the controls are really wonky. Other than that, it's just your basic and horrendous run & gunner. Hopeless. If you like the GTA series, don't play this game at all. Start with GTA III and work your way through the newer games. Leave its predecessors alone.
