Feels like the Proto-type for the "Star Fox" Video Game Series.

A lot of video game players are spoiled today, with the many different choices of video game shooters that are available. But back in the early 1980's, with the Internet still years away, and no Nintendo Power available ... Read Full Review

    Dangerous, Devious, Xevious!

Xevious is an arcade-style, never-ending shooter on the Atari 7800. So, the object is just to survive as long as possible while racking up the highest score you can. You'll need to manage an onslaught from both the air a... Read Full Review

Xevious was a genre-shaping game once. Now it's so dated, it barely even deserves a place in the genre it helped make.

The Nintendo eShop suffered from a very skimpy line-up around the time 3D Classics: Xevious was released. Most of the games were unembellished re-releases of games from older platforms. Nintendo managed to make remakes o... Read Full Review

This one really is a waste

Xevious is the second game in the 3D cIassics series, which remakes NES games for the 3DS by adding 3D effects. The first game was excitebike, for which the 3D actually improved the graphics. This is not the case with Xe... Read Full Review

Good as a 3D effect, not so good as an actual game

I understand that Xevious isn't meant to be a complex shooter and is supposed to be an arcade classic. However as a game, it is very mediocre and has the bare minimum of what you would expect from a shoot-'em-up game. Wh... Read Full Review

Let me tell you I bought this software because I thought it we be fun to play for an hour or two ,however I became addicted after the first few minutes. Graphics:5/5- The spaceship( don't know how to spell it) pops ou... Read Full Review

    Fun, simple, and challenging shooter!

Xevious was not a very graphically appealing game on the NES, but it's simple and challenging game play made it one of my favorite shooters on the console. Xevious seems like an endless scrolling top down shooter, whe... Read Full Review

Old Classic Revitalized on the 360

Originally released in 1982, "Xevious" is one of the first vertical shooters in video game history. Released on a plethora of consoles over the past 20 years like Nintendo, Game Boy Advance and Sony PlayStation, it was o... Read Full Review

    Fast paced and hard

Xevious is very hard to play. Especially when you have to dodge so many attacks from the opponent. If people can get the right spot for landing bombs in the ground target, they can score instant kill. This is actually on... Read Full Review
