coming from the standpoint of a 40k fan, and a gamer i loved how visceral the game was. it definitely felt like 40k.
The game was a little cookie-cutter in terms of game play, it was fun to feel like a total bad ass. which is the point of playing space marine. that said there are some flavor issues for the story that need... fleshing o... Read Full Review

Making the Space Marine Cool Again
Warhammer 40K Space Marine has no right to be as much fun as it is. Every time I saw the game before its release, I couldn't help but find the premise generic and the gameplay redundant. Now the game is finally in my han... Read Full Review

SpaceMarine is an attempt on recreating Gears Of War which fails clearly!
Space marine is another one of those games which seems to be a duplicate of previous titles such as Gears Of War.Its not that difficult to figure this out since most of the features are the same.We are looking at a game ... Read Full Review

The dreadfully boring Space Marine is neither an entertaining hack and slash nor a competent third person shooter.
In modern gaming there's simply no longer an excuse for games as woefully poor as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine to exist. Developed by Relic - a developer known for their excellent real-time strategy entries in the War... Read Full Review

This is an old school shooter with a very good theme and fun gameplay but can be frustrating at times.
Pros: Nice theme and story premise. Very good looking environments, it looks like 40000 universe Nice character modeling and texturing. Awesome sound effects Nice assortment of weapons from the 40000 universe V... Read Full Review

Almost flawless, blends to different genres together to create its own unique game.
Story: The story takes place in the Warhammer 40K universe on a planet called Graia, a planet which is used for developing machines of war. The planet has been over run by a massive amount of alien Orks, who seem a bit m... Read Full Review

Good graphics. Nice, but extremely short story line. Multiplayer is P2P instead of dedicated servers.
The game makes for some great screen shots (especially when it locks up from lag issues...F12, F-12, F-12). Nothing quite so fun as running along in a MP game and having someone kill you with a chain sword from 30 feet a... Read Full Review

Good, but not nearly good as it could have been - After reading/playing every novel/game in the series I expected better
It was far from bad but far from exceptional too. It is a must play for the Warhammer fan but after playing it, it becomes old stuff already and fails to leave a lasting, meaningful impression like other games such as Me... Read Full Review

Bringing the hammer down, slowly.
I'm not going to lie, I had little to no idea what Warhammer 40K: Space Marine was about. And to tell you the truth, I'm still a bit hazy on the overall story line in the game. But like any violent TPS, the story is the... Read Full Review

A brilliantly brutal game that can satisfy anybody with the need to kill something!
A short and sweet review here. Having played alot of dawn of war 1 and 2 I naturally wanted to step into the boots of a space marine and this game gives you that chance. You definantly feel like you are one of the emp... Read Full Review
