It is a fact that Rome: TW2 is an amazing strategy game.
Maybe it is because I love strategy games, and it has been awhile since I have got my hands on a good one. But this game has impressed me from the start. I sat and stared at the screen for awhile when I first started a... Read Full Review

Don't believe all the negative reviews, definitely worth the investment.
I have been playing the Total War games for since the original Shogun. I still believe the original Rome Total War was the best game considering the graphics, game-play, and longevity for the time period it was released.... Read Full Review

It's broken beyond belief.
In its current state, this game is broken beyond belief. It's shocking it got 8/10 on game spot. A 5/10 would have been an insult for other games rated at 5/10. This could be seen as trolling, but anyone with a shred of ... Read Full Review

The devs need to do more beta testing.. Sick of CA releasing games with so much potential but shipped unfinished.
I personally found Gamespots review to be rather poor and to optimistic towards a half baked game.. This latest release from CA has been shipped broken, unfinished and unpolished. Reviewers should be a lot harsher on thi... Read Full Review

A Mackerel's disappointing journey through the latest Total War: (Hint: it does not end well).
At first, I was stoked. After all, Rome was my favorite Total War, so what could go wrong with an updated version of that? Turns out; a lot. Step 1: Okay, so the performance wasn't all that great? Well, it's only the ... Read Full Review

A mess of a game. Ambitious, but completely fails to deliver what it promise.
I'm a huge Total War fan, I've got all of them and I've played them to bits and pieces. If you're considering buying this game, you should keep the following in mind. + The game is ambitious and there's a lot of poten... Read Full Review

The game is disappointing and not finished. If you want a good and true review please watch Angry Joe's review.
The game is disappointing and not finished. CA rushed the game and its still basically a beta. The AI and UI are terrible, which makes no sense because TA games are all pretty similar in their battle mechanics so why wou... Read Full Review

how much did gamespot get paid to give it a rating of 8.0 because any true gamer wouldn't give it better than a 5.0
I don't care to waste the time writing everything wrong with this game because I don't have a hour to spend right now. failure huge failure I have been waiting for this game for over a year and because of how horrible th... Read Full Review

I enjoy this game quite a bit, but the more you play it the more you see that its simply unfinished and quite broken
Ok lets start with the good stuff. The game is gorgeous. Watching my Hastati decimate enemy troops with a volley of javelins before crashing into them is a pure joy to behold. It is a Total war game so despite all o... Read Full Review

Criminal to release a game in this crappy state
RTW2 is a game that looks good at a glance but that has SERIOUS problems both with poor AI as well as at the methodoligical level and has left many players gobsmacked. CONS: Gone are the winter, spring and fall seas... Read Full Review
