Great customisation options and responsive controls make this fighter a blast to play.
For the past few years i've been a devoted Tekken player. However when I saw soul calibur 4 for £12 in my local store. I had to pick it up and give it a go. Not only is this the best Soul Calibur in the series, bu... Read Full Review

The fourth Soul Calibur offers its share of thrills, but one can't help but feel there could have been more here.
The Soul Blade/Calibur Franchise has always been an entertaining play, and this game makes no changes to the franchise's must-buy status. The action here is the same we've been experiencing for years, and that's not rea... Read Full Review

With Soul Calibur 4's rushed feel, it can't be helped that people are asking for more, but it's still a gem, nonetheless
Let me get this out of the way first. If you're a person who doesn't like the typical JRPG look of games (or any Japanese game for that matter), you may as well not get Soul Calibur 4, because the swords couldn't get any... Read Full Review

It's been a long coming from Soul Blade, but SC4 seems to lose sight of what it used to be about.
I always love Soul Caliber all the way back to the days of Soul Blade ( Which I'm currently looking for) and always love styles of Mitsurugi and Cervantes. But this new game seems to have fallen from the grace of what th... Read Full Review

A strong fighter, but the weak single player and lack of more options for multiplayer are a let down.
Two reasons why this game was kind of a disappointment are the ankle-deep single player modes, and the lack of options in multi-player fighting. They definitely should have included a tag-team multiplayer option (as in,... Read Full Review

Transcending history and the world, a tale of sous and swords, eternally retold.. Soul Calibur 4 is obviously a fighting game, and the 5th main game of the soul series, it's mainly about two sords, the Soul Calibur (good... Read Full Review

If you want to play a fighter's game, you play this!
I have played many many different fighting games, and by far the SoulCalibur series is the best. For me a good fighting game should have couple qualities. First, the ease of using the characters. Too many games I have pl... Read Full Review

interesting, but not that good. certain lags exist, and the feels just not there anymore.
The game is actually quite a bit of fun. Its addictive on occasion, but plain boring on others. I enjoy the selection of characters and the fact that you can create your own. Although the create a soul was lots of fun, i... Read Full Review

A Superior weapon based fighter, but not the definitive one.
Soul Calibur IV features an excellent fighting systems, the combat is very easy to pickup and offers plenty of depth for hardcore players. The action is fast paced and most of the moves are easy to execute and look great... Read Full Review
