If you want to play a fighter's game, you play this!

I have played many many different fighting games, and by far the SoulCalibur series is the best. For me a good fighting game should have couple qualities. First, the ease of using the characters. Too many games I have played, the characters are too difficult to move around the screen and simply not being able to move like a normal human being or equivalent, should be able to do. Second, the move sets for characters, all characters should have something different to offer to the table, lots of bad games just have the same move sets or something very similar, like the designers have limited imagination or knowledge of fighting styles. Third, and for me a big one, is the use of weapons, FIGHTING IS NOT ALWAYS HAND TO HAND. Fourth, also a big one, is difficulty, easy should be easy, hard should be hard, plain and simple! I have gotten frustrated many of times when I am playing a game on easy just to see how the boss looks like and then I get to him and he kills me within seconds. Now don't get me wrong, a boss shouldn't be as easy as the rest of the characters, but on easy he shouldn't be on the level hard or higher. Fifth, a very nice feature to have, is customization and being able to create your own character and also being able to upgrade the character. Finally, a nice reward after you beat the game with a character is to have a video of the character.
So when it comes to these qualifications, SoulCalibur 4 stands out above the rest. So it's my recommendation to anyone who likes fighting games.
Rating: Overall I give it a 9 out 10.
Only reason I didn't give it a 10 out 10 is because it is missing what Tekken 6 has done and that is add a story mode where your character walks around a world and you fight various enemies that you encounter, sort of like God of War or Devil may cry. If S.C. adds this feature to their next game, then it would be perfect!
