Inspiring and Frustrating... in a good way.

Nightshade, or a kunoichi, a female ninja which is best suited for hotsuma (lol) well how do we begin, first the story, the story is a sequel to the famous "shinobi" by hotsuma, you play the role of hibana a female ninja... Read Full Review

This game gets exponentially better once you unlock Hotsuma.

Playing with Hibana has its quirks, and her character design, in my opinion, adds to the challenge of this game. Once Hotsuma is unlocked, it's havoc on a different level. He doesn't have to dive-kick opponents to break ... Read Full Review

Old-School action as tight as they come.

I loved Shinobi when it came out for the PS2, even with its over-the-top difficulty. It took me 2 years (almost) to finally slay the final boss of the game, which was just in time for Nightshade to come out. If there was... Read Full Review

    Thumb hurting.

Sega games are meant to be good, but this one isn't, period. Graphically, Nightshade is ok, with nice models and good animations. The most appraisable feature is the frame rate: rosk-steady and smooth during all the gam... Read Full Review

I can honestly say that i do not like this game. The only reason i'm giving this a 5.5 because i had some sort of fun with it. Shinobi was a great game and it was fun and Very Challenging. The story was good and the game... Read Full Review
